Morch Elected to J. Lauritzen BoD

Danish shipping company J. Lauritzen adds CEO of Norwegian Odfjell, Kristian V. Mørch, and CFO of the cleaning company ISS, Barbara Plucnar Jensen, into its board of directors. "J. Lauritzen A/S in March 2018, Kristian V. Morch, CEO at Odfjell SE, Norway and Barbara Plucnar Jensen, CFO at ISS UK and Ireland will be elected as new members of the Board of Directors of J. Lauritzen," said a press release from the company. In connection with the upcoming annual general meeting, Marianne Wiinholt, CFO & EVP at Ørsted will resign from the Board of Directors of J. Lauritzen. Kristian V. Morch has been CEO at Odfjell since August 2015. Prior to that, Morch was Partner and Group CEO at Clipper Group from January 2011 until May 2015. ISS Opens New Head Office in London

Maritime and logistics service provider Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has officially opened its new head office in London. Based in Fenchurch Street in the heart of the City, the new office for ISS’ leadership team has been opened to bring it closer to key customers’ London offices and more accessible for customers and staff visiting from overseas. Other core functions now based in London include Innovation, Marketing, Sales Support and Accounts. Guests joining ISS at the official opening celebrations represented a number of ISS’ key customers, trade journalists and other industry contacts. Andersen will be CEO of Hempel

Hempel A/S announced that CEO Pierre-Yves Jullien will be succeeded by Henrik Andersen, Group COO of ISS A/S, by March 1st 2016. Henrik Andersen has been with ISS A/S since 2000, since 2011 as Member of the Executive Board, first as Group CFO and from 2013 Group COO, EMEA and following a recent change been appointed in his current position as global Group COO. Prior to returning to Copenhagen in 2011, Henrik spent 7 years in the UK starting as CFO and from 2008 to 2011 as CEO for ISS UK and its 43,000 employees.
