Global Achieves 10,000 Dives on a Single Project

Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. has surpassed the 10,000 dives on a single project at Olmsted Locks & Dam in Illinois. Tom Cameron, a long-time diver with Global, performed the 10,000th dive. Wade Miller, Marine Construction Manager with AECOM for the Olmsted Dam Project, said, “The Global team has done an exceptional job. Global has been working at Olmsted since 2009 providing a variety of dive-related services. Olmsted is a significant, ongoing undertaking. Devon Grennan joined Global Diving & Salvage in 1995 and has served many roles. When company founders Tim Beaver and John Graham stepped down from direct operational involvement, Grennan was named CEO. Grennan to Head Global Diving & Salvage

After more than 30 years as founders and owners of Global Diving & Salvage, Inc., Tim Beaver and John Graham continue to remain excited about the future of the company. This month, they announced the newest chapter in Global’s history; Devon Grennan, President for the past four years, will now also take on the position of Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Beaver and Mr. Graham will maintain ownership and continue to serve on the Board of Directors, but will step down from direct operational involvement.

Global Diving, Team Seattle Benefit Children’s Hospital

Global Diving & Salvage, Inc and Team Seattle Guild at Children’s Hospital are a surprising combination, at first glance, but when you look a little deeper the connection is easily formed. John Graham, Chief Strategic Officer of Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. has had a long relationship with Children’s, spanning more than 20 years. His first exposure to the magnificent work that Children’s is capable of began with the birth of his son who was a patient there. It continued along through the years with several children of Global employees being treated at the facility. Recently, an employee’s daughter even received a heart transplant performed by Dr. Gordon Cohen, Chief, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Co-Director, Heart Center and a motivator of Team Seattle.
