Cruise Shipping Miami 2015 is gearing up to offer the most comprehensive and robust roster of panel discussions featuring the industry's most knowledgeable and experienced executives. The panels will be grouped under several broad themes based on industry trends during the four-day conference. The 31st edition of Cruise Shipping Miami is scheduled for March 16-19 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Organized by UBM Connect, thematic topics include The Geography of Cruise Tourism, Safety and Ship Operations, Market Segments and Cruise Product Development. On Tuesday morning, March 17, the conference will open with the popular State of the Industry session. Participants in that plenary session will be announced in the coming weeks. The Port of Tallinn has signed contracts with Remontowa Shipbuilding and Sefine Shipyard shipbuilding facilities for the construction of four new car-passenger ferry boats to be used on the lines between the mainland and major Estonian islands; two ferries are to be built by each shipbuilding facility. The four new ferry boats, designed by the Norwegian company LMG Marin, will be constructed in the shipbuilding yards located in Gdánsk, Poland and Altinova, Turkey. Each year, roughly 250,000 people die from sudden cardiac arrest. Defibrillation is the only known therapy to treat an individual in cardiac arrest. Delivering an electrical shock to the heart can restore the heart's normal rhythm; however, it must be done within minutes of the arrest. For every minute that passes without defibrillation, a victim's chance of survival decreases by seven to 10 percent. After as few as 10 minutes, very few resuscitation attempts are successful.
