Lim Joins ST Engineering Board

Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) announced Lim Chin Hu has been appointed as an independent nonexecutive director of the company with effect from July 16, 2018.Lim is currently the Managing Partner of Stream Global Pte Ltd, an incubator for info-com startups. He has over 30 years of experience in the Info-communications industry. His past working experience includes various management positions in Hewlett Packard as well as key positions in Sun Microsystems Singapore (now Oracle) and Sun in Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam.

Keppel T & T Appoints Lim Chin Leong to its Board

Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation Ltd (Keppel T&T) has strengthened its Board with the appointment of Mr Lim Chin Leong as an independent, non-executive Director with effect from 1 September 2014. Mr Lim will also be a member of the Nominating Committee and Board Safety Committee. Mr Lim, 59, was with Schlumberger for more than 30 years where he served in various roles from technical, personnel and line management positions in Asia, the Middle East and the US, including Vice President of Well Completions and Production (Middle East and Asia) and President of Schlumberger Oilfield Services. Mr Lim retired as Chairman of Asia for Schlumberger in 2010.

Shipping Leaders Debated Economic Impact

The impact of the current financial crisis topped the agenda at the inaugural Seoul International Maritime and Shipbuilding conference held during the week of Nov. 3. Organized by the Korean Register of Shipping and attended by around 150 leading industry representatives from the owning, building and classification sectors, this event was a forum to debate the current issues facing the industry.
