Bear Head LNG GHG Management Plan Approved

Bear Head LNG Corporation Inc. (Bear Head LNG) received Nova Scotia Environment’s (NSE) approval for its Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Management Plan for its liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility on the Strait of Canso in Richmond County, Nova Scotia. The GHG Management Plan provides Bear Head LNG’s strategy for managing GHG emissions through technology selection, design of the facility, and operations. “Approval of Bear Head LNG’s GHG Management Plan is welcome news,” said Greg Vesey, Managing Director and CEO of LNGL and President of Bear Head LNG. “Bear Head LNG is designing a best-in-class LNG facility, utilizing state of the art technology.

LNG Names New MD

Australia's Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (LNGL) has appointed Chevron executive Greg Vesey to replace company founder Maurice Brand as managing director and chief executive. Brand will continue on with LNG as an executive director until his retirement in June next year. Vesey, a 25-year veteran of Chevron, will be based in Houston, Texas. Greg brings a wealth of experience through his 35 years with Chevron Corporation where his responsibilities most recently included Chevron's Global Gas marketing and trading activity including extensive LNG development work. Previous appointments covered the introduction of new technology, international operations and included commercial and execution responsibilities as well as liaising with stakeholders.

Magnolia LNG Receives Final FEIS

Liquefied  Natural  Gas Limited and Magnolia LNG LLC (Magnolia) announced that the United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Magnolia LNG (MLNG) project in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and the associated Kinder Morgan Louisiana Pipeline (KMLP) Lake Charles Expansion Project on 13 November 2015. Issuance of the FEIS represents the culmination of FERC Staff’s environmental and safety review of the proposed MLNG and KMLP projects. Magnolia Inks deal with Meridian

Liquefied Natural Gas Ltd informed that its 100% owned project company, Magnolia LNG, LLC signed a legally binding agreement with Meridian LNG Holdings Corp for firm capacity rights for up to 2 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) at Magnolia LNG, located on the Calcasieu shipping channel in the Lake Charles District, State of Louisiana, USA. Under the liquefaction tolling agreement (LTA), Magnolia will provide liquefaction servicesto Meridian LNG over the term of the contract in return for monthly capacity payments. Meridian LNG is responsible for procurement and delivery of feed gas to the liquefaction plant and for arranging all LNG shipping required to transport the LNG from the liquefaction plant to its customers.

LNGL Raises A$174 mi for N. American Projects

Liquefied  Natural  Gas  Limited  announced the placement of 40 million fully paid ordinary shares in the capital of LNGL, which has raised A$174 million before costs (Placement).  Commencement of an Early Works program at the proposed 8 mtpa Magnolia LNG (MLNG) project following receipt of the timeline established in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Schedule of Environmental Review (SER) announced on 30 April 2015.  General corporate purposes. Magnolia LNG Project Progress with FERC

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited w ishes to provide an update on the status of Information Requests from the United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in relation to the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Magnolia LNG LLC (MLNG). The Company is pleased to report that it submitted on the requested date its full and complete response to the FERC Engineering Data information request. As noted in previous releases, these information requests are part of the normal process for applications filed under Sections 3 and 7 of the Natural Gas Act for LNG terminalsin the United States, and allows FERC to clarify certain aspects of the filings to assist them to complete and issue a draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Magnolia LNG project.

SK E&C Awarded Contract for Magnolia LNG

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited informs that its wholly owned subsidiary, Magnolia LNG LLC (MLNG) has agreed to an EPC contract with SK E&C USA (EPC Contract) in relation to the Company’s Magnolia LNG Project. The Contract covers the initial 4 mtpa LNG installation, comprising two LNG trains, each with a LNG design capacity of 2 mtpa, two 160,000m3 storage tanks, a jetty and ship loading facility and related infrastructure, and all required approvals and licenses for the full 8 mtpa project. Bear Head LNG Plans Initial Phase of 8 MTPA

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited informed that on 31st October 2014, its wholly owned company Bear Head LNG Corporation, filed for modifications to the existing construction and environmental permits granted by the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board and Nova Scotia Environment. “This is a major step in adapting Bear Head LNG’s 12 existing construction and environmental permits to an export project. These key regulatory filings help maintain our accelerated pace in executing the project development plan,” says John Godbold, Bear Head LNG Chief Operating Officer and Project Director. In addition, Bear Head LNG is announcing expansion of the initial facility production capacity to 8 million tonnes per annum (mtpa), doubling the 4 mtpa previously announced.

LNGL Extends Gladstone Lease

* LNGL has signed a non-binding memorandum of intent (MOI) for gas supply with Tri-Star Petroleum Company (Tri-Star). Liquefied Natural Gas Limited yesterday announced that its 100% owned subsidiary, Gladstone LNG Pty Ltd has agreed to a Variation to the Agreement for Lease with the Gladstone Ports Corporation until 31 March 2016 in two phases. The first phase is an extension of the term from 1 November 2014 to 31 March 2015, with the Company paying an Option Fee of $500,000 and the second phase, at the Company’s election, is a further extension to 31 March 2016, with the payment of a further Option Fee of $1 million. The company executed a non-binding MOI for a proposed gas sales agreement (GSA) with Tri-Star.

LNG Finalizes Acquisition of Bear Head LNG Project

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited today informed having finalised the acquisition of 100% of Bear Head LNG Corporation (BHLC). This follows the announcement to the ASX by LNGL on 28 July 2014 regarding the signing of an agreement to acquire BHLC from a subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (Anadarko) for US$11.0 million, and the satisfaction of standard closing conditions and consents. LNG to Acquire Bear Head LNG Project in Canada for US$11 mi

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited today announced that it has significantly expanded its presence in the North American Liquefied NaturalGas (LNG) sector by signing an agreement to acquire 100% of Bear Head LNG Corporation (BHLC)from a subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (Anadarko) for US$11.0 million. A 255-acre site comprising industrial-zoned land (180 acres) and deep-water acreage (75 acres) as well as foundations in place for two 180,000 cubic meter LNG tanks. The land has been cleared, a majority of site works completed and roads constructed. The Project Rights of the previously proposed LNG import terminal, including all assets, rights and obligations associated with the Bear Head project.

FERC Accepts Kinder Morgan's Application

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (LNGL) informs that the US   Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has accepted Kinder Morgan  Louisiana Pipeline LLC’s (KMLP) application pursuant to Section 7(c) of the Natural Gas Act for the Lake Charles  Expansion  Project,  establishing  1  August  2014  as the  deadline  by  which  interested parties must formally intervene and/or submit comments on the filing.
