Logimatic Inks Fleet Management Deal with Hapag-Lloyd
Logimatic said it has signed a contract with Hapag-Lloyd that will see the German shipping company replace several existing fleet management systems with SERTICA.As part of its digital transformation and centralization efforts, Hapag-Lloyd will implement SERTICA on more than 70 containerships, creating a common Technical Fleet Management System for its fleets both in Hamburg and Dubai.Jan Rüsch, Business Project Manager at Hapag-Lloyd, said, âWith a smooth transition to a shared fleet management software platform across two fleets, we expect to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Stena RoRo Converts 2 Vessels to SERTICA
The roll on/roll off cargo and passenger services provider Stena RoRo has converted two vessels to SERTICA system, which enables RoRos to work with one supplier and one system - covering maintenance, procurement and safety.Stena RoRo initially signed up to SERTICA Maintenance and Procurement but decided to add the Safety Management System in SERTICA to get full value of the solution.From the day Stena Roro signed the SERTICA contract with Logimatic, they had 5 weeks to convert the existing data from two different systems to SERTICA before a scheduled inspection.Niklas Andersson, Manager Technical Operations at Stena RoRo says, âSERTICA was chosen to enable us to start operating the vessels from early March. EURONAV Opts for SERTICA Fleet Management
After a rigorous selection process, tanker shipping company EURONAV has chosen the SERTICA Fleet Management System by Danish software and engineering company Logimatic. EURONAV, which operates some of the worldâs largest tanker vessels, has chosen the entire SERTICA product suite onboard its 52 vessels for improved maintenance and vessel management. There are currently more than 32 customers worldwide and 964 active vessels running SERTICA Fleet Management system.
Logimatic Announces Leadership Change
IT company Logimatic Solutions A/S said it has experienced significant growth in recent years. The company has therefore appointed Lars Francke Riisberg as CEO to strengthen the management with new leadership. Although new in the position as CEO, Riisberg has been part of Logimatic's Board of Directors. For 25 years, he has been involved in the development, sale and implementation of software solutions for the maritime sector. In addition, he has an MBA in Corporate Entrepreneurship. Since the beginning of 1989, Riisberg has assisted in the development of the software known today as SERTICA.
Logimatic, Eiger Marine Join for Fleet Management Solution
Logimatic has formed an alliance with Eiger Marine to market the most comprehensive and operational Fleet Management System to the shipping industry, in Greece and Cyprus. The partnership will offer customers in the maritime sector a complete software solution for Fleet Management: SERTICA. SERTICA provides integrated Maintenance, Procurement, and HSQE for easy and flexible vessel management. Eiger Marine is a process improvement solutions provider. Tarbit Shipping, Martech Systems Pact to Implement SERTICA
Swedish tanker company Tarbit Shipping has signed a deal with Martech Systems to manage data structuring and implementation of the SERTICA software package from Logimatic on two ships under construction at a shipyard in Turkey. Earlier this year, Logimatic secured Martech Systems as an implementation partner for SERTICA. Martech Systems offers services such as data structuring, data implementation, data collecting and data entry, and crew training for SERTICA. Martech Systems will complete an implementation of SERTICA on the two ships being built at a shipyard in Turkey. Hans Chr. Tarbit Upgrades Its Safety Management System
Swedish tanker company Tarbit has signed a contract with Logimatic to implement SERTICA on its entire fleet. Tarbit currently operates 14 tanker vessels and has ordered two new vessels, which brings them to a total fleet of 16 vessels in 2017. The tanker vessels transport bitumen, petroleum products and chemicals. âWith modules such as SERTICA Inspection and Analytics, we are now able to continuously improve our tanker operations and fulfill all relevant industry demands even better than we are doing today.

In 2017, the Danish Maritime Authority will contribute to a pilot project on the development and testing of a system that collects real-time data from various components on board ships. The data flow will be transmitted continuously to shore-based organisations allowing the authorities, shipowners and marine equipment manufacturers to use the information in real-time. The Aalborg-based company GateHouse is behind the pilot project. A number of other companies and the Danish Maritime Authority will contribute to the testing of the new technology. They include shipowners such as Uni-Tankers and other companies such as Logimatic and two major Danish equipment manufacturers.

Berge Bulk Implements Sertica
Singapore based dry bulk owner, Berge Bulk, started implementing Sertica in January 2015 and today has 34 active vessels. Starting out with 12 vessels in 2007, Berge Bulk has more than tripled the size of its original fleet, now operating and managing more than 40 vessels. Today, a full Sertica product suite is in use on 34 of the 40 vessels. This includes Sertica Maintenance, Sertica Fleet Management, Sertica HSQE, Sertica Procurement and Sertica Invoice Management & Workflow. In addition, an interface to the financial system is implemented.
