MOL Group Expands its Exploration Portfolio

MOL Group expanded its exploration portfolio by acquiring new licenses in Hungary and Norway. MOL acquired 6 new licences in the 4th bid round in Hungary, doubling its exploration acreage in the country. MOL Norge participated in the latest APA licensing round and acquired 4 licences in the Norwegian Continental Shelf, one of which with operatorship. These successes significantly contribute to the implementation of the MOL 2030 strategy. MOL has won 6 new licences in the fourth Hungarian hydrocarbon exploration tender and the concession contracts have been signed by the representatives of the Ministry of National Development and MOL.

Viking River Cruises (www.vikingrivercruises.com) set a world record with the christening of 10 new Viking Longships. “Today is a proud day for Viking and for river cruising. We are honored to showcase 10 of our revolutionary new Longships and to have had such a celebrated group of women helping us christen them,” said Torstein Hagen, Chairman of Viking Cruises. Guests at the christening ceremony enjoyed remarks by each godmother and a presentation on the growth of river cruising by Hagen.

Heng Deputy CEO of Keppel Integrated Engineering

Keppel Integrated Engineering Ltd (KIE), the wholly-owned environmental arm of Keppel Corporation Limited appointed BG (NS) Tay Lim Heng as its Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director (Sustainable Development) with effect from 15 June 2010. BG (NS) Tay was the Deputy Secretary (Development) of the Ministry of National Development (MND). Before his posting to MND, BG (NS) Tay was Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore. BG (NS) Tay has also held various senior key appointments in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

Senior Appointments at NOL

Orient Lines Limited (NOL) announced two senior management appointments. Cedric Foo, currently NOL Group Deputy President, will assume the additional responsibilities of President Asia/Middle East for NOL Group. Foo rejoined NOL in May 2005 to head corporate planning, having previously served in the Company from 1985 to 2000, most latterly as Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance. He was Senior Vice President at Singapore Airlines from 2000 to 2002 and has been a Member of Singapore's Parliament since 2001. Mr Foo was Singapore's Minister of State in both the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of National Development from 2002 to 2005. Brian Lutt has been appointed President APL Logistics.
