The U.K.’s Department for Transport announced the appointment of Peter Cardy as the new Chief Executive of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. He will succeed John Astbury who retires from his post as Acting Chief Executive of the Agency in May 2007.

International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) chief Cliff Brand resigns to become Marine Director, King Abdullah Economic City Seaport. International Bunker Industry Association has announced that it is searching for a new chief executive following the resignation of its Chief Executive Cliff Brand. Cliff Brand will be leaving the organisation on 28 March, 2013. IBIA board member Trevor Harrison will act as interim chief executive until a replacement is found, having previously acted as IBIA chief executive for 15 months during 2011/12.
NOL Appoints New CEO, CFO
Amid a takeover by France’s CMA CGM, Singapore container shipper Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) has named a new chief executive officer and chief financial officer. Nicolas Sartini will take over as chief executive officer, succeeding Ng Yat Chung, who has served as NOL president and CEO since 2011. New chief financial officer Serge Corbel will join Sartini as executive directors of the newly constituted 10-member NOL board. Ng will continue as executive director on the NOL board and will be a special adviser to the new chairman, Rodolphe Saadé, who is also the vice chairman of CMA CGM.
Golden Ocean Names New CEO and CFO
The board of Golden Ocean Group Ltd. announced a pair of leadership appointments, naming Birgitte Ringstad Vartdal as the new Chief Executive Officer of Golden Ocean Management AS and Per Heiberg as the new Chief Financial Officer of Golden Ocean Management AS. American Commercial Lines Inc. (ACL) announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Christopher A. Black, has informed the board of directors that he plans on leaving the Company at the expiration of his current employment agreement in February 2008 to pursue other interests. RB Royal Announces New Chief Operating Officer

NOL Appoints New Chief Information Officer
The NOL Group has elected veteran technology executive, Donald G. Liedtke, as its chief information officer (CIO) - heading its organization of about 300 computer systems specialists. Liedtke, who was previously with Packard Bell NEC, will be based at the APL office in Oakland, Calif., which houses NOL's information technology group, as well as the global headquarters of APL Logistics - the container transportation and logistics arm of the NOL Group.

New Chief of Staff at Odfjell
Øistein Jensen has been appointed as new Chief of Staff at Odfjell, commencing in his new position from February 29, 2016. Jensen is a Norwegian citizen and presently holds the position as Director at PwC. He is a graduate of the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy and has among other positions served as submarine commander. He also holds an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Jensen brings to the position experience within organizational development, corporate compliance and project management.

Developer of motion compensation solutions Ampelmann announced that its supervisory board has appointed Jim Craig as the company’s new chief executive officer, effective immediately. Craig brings more than 25 years of energy industry experience to the role, having previously served as the managing director of Centrica Storage. Ampelmann's inventor and founder, Jan van der Tempel, decided to step down from the position of CEO to dedicate more time to teaching and technology development. NOL Shares Soar On Management Change News
Shares of shipping and logistics group Neptune Orient Lines Ltd. (NOL) surged almost 10% on optimism over recent management changes, dealers said on Tuesday. Late September, NOL said it had hired more senior executives from Sea-Land Services as senior officals for its container transportation arm, APL. The move were seen as positive and reinforced the shipping group's commitment to grow its European and North American presence. Flemming Jacobs is NOL's new chief executive officer.
Golar LNG Appoints Iain Ross as CEO
Shipping company Golar LNG Ltd said it has appointed Iain Ross as its new chief executive. Ross succeeds Oscar Spieler, who was appointed as CEO last year after having previously led the company between July 2009 and June 2011. Spieler was in charge of the company's FLNG Hilli Episeyo project and is leaving after its delivery, but would remain with the group as executive adviser, the company said in a statement. Rodolphe Saadé is the new chief executive of container shipping line CMA CGM, taking over the role previously held by his 80-year-old father. The top spot at CMA CGM Group has been passed from one generation to another. Jacques Saadé announced on his 80th birthday that his son Rodolphe Saadé would take over as the French shipping line’s next chief executive officer.
