Northrop Grumman Moves to Virginia

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC), announced that it will locate its new corporate office in Virginia, concluding a search that also included the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. "We are pleased to have identified Virginia as the home for our new corporate office. Virginia, Maryland and the District put forward compelling, competitive offers. Our final decision was driven largely by facility considerations, proximity to our customers, and overall economics," said Wes Bush, chief executive officer and president. Northrop Grumman is currently conducting negotiations with several building owners in the Falls Church/Arlington area, with a specific building selection to be announced.

NG Moves Corporate Office to D.C. Region

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) announced a decision to move its corporate office from Los Angeles to the Washington D.C. region by 2011. The company is engaged in a search to identify a specific location within the Washington, D.C. region, including the District, Maryland and Virginia. It plans to complete the search by spring 2010 and open the new corporate office by summer 2011. "As a global security company with a large customer base in the Washington, D.C. region, this move will enable us to better serve our nation and customers," said Wes Bush, chief executive officer and president. The new corporate office will include approximately 300 people.

ASA Welcomes New Members

At its recent Spring meeting, the American Salvage Association (ASA) welcomed a new General Member, 10 new Associate Members, and four new Corporate Associate Members to its ranks. Schottel Reorganizes

With a revised product range and a new corporate structure, Germany’s Schottel announced that its headquarters in Spay/Rhine and Schottel Antriebstechnik GmbH in Wismar have been merged to form the new Schottel GmbH with its registered office in Spay and branches in Wismar and Hamburg. Schottel Schiffsmaschinen GmbH, which is also based at the Wismar location, will continue to develop and manufacture controllable-pitch propeller systems as an independent company. The core competencies of Schottel GmbH are the development, production and servicing of steerable propulsion and maneuvering systems such as the Rudderpropeller and its electric variant the Combi Drive, the Schottel Pump-Jet and the SCHOTTEL Transverse Thrusters.

ABS Announces Executive Appointments

The ABS Board of Directors announces executive appointments. Effective January 1, 2002 the following staff will assume new leadership positions: Robert J. Bauerle, Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer; Gary A. Latin, Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer; Dr. Donald Liu, Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer; and Vincent F. ABS promoted James C. Card to Senior Vice President, Technology. Card will assume the overall management responsibilities of ABS' global technology and research team. The board also approved the election of William J. MMA Offshore Posts 55.8% YoY Profit Increase

MMA Offshore, the company born from the merger of Mermaid Marine Australia and Jaya Holdings in June 2014, posted a net profit of $37.7 million for the half year that ended on December 31, 2014. This represents a 55.8% increase over the same half-year in 2013 for what was formerly Mermaid Marine Australia. Carnival Corporation appoints Costa Cruises Chairman Pier Luigi Foschi to oversee the company's growth strategies within the Asian region. In his role as chairman and chief executive officer of the new Carnival Asia unit, Foschi will be responsible for establishing Carnival Corporation & plc's new corporate offices in Singapore and providing guidance and assistance to the organization's various operating units in pursuing their Asian cruise strategies. Intermarine Forms Delta T Alliance

Intermarine of Savannah, Ga., has joined the number of yacht builders who are taking advantage of the new corporate alliance program offered by Delta "T" Systems of Jupiter, Fla. As an alliance member, Intermarine will receive quicker, easier and more cost-efficient access to Delta "T" Systems' engine room ventilation products. The company's products manage airflow through the engine room to optimize engine performance and service life. They include fans, fire dampers, moisture eliminators and automated electronic control systems. As part of the agreement, Intermarine will make Delta "T” Systems products standard aboard all its craft. Intermarine will also benefit from special warranty and cooperative advertising arrangements with Delta "T".

HORNBECK-LEEVAC Changes Name

HORNBECK-LEEVAC Marine Services, Inc. announced that it has changed its name to Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. The new corporate name was approved at the company's recent annual meeting of stockholders. The name of the tug and tank barge owning subsidiary, LEEVAC Marine, LLC, has also been changed to Hornbeck Offshore Transportation, LLC. The name changes are effective immediately. Todd M. Coastal Towing Announces New Refinancing

Coastal Towing, Inc., announced today the consummation of a $28 million senior term loan with the CIT Group/ Equipment Financing, Inc., Heller Financial Leasing, Inc. Pursuant to this transaction, the Company refinanced senior term debt under existing agreements with CIT and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. In addition, the loan will be used to facilitate Coastal?s barge construction program. Dennis D. Buffo has joined Coastal Towing, Inc., as vice president of maintenance effective October 1. With over 29 years in the maintenance area of the marine industry, he will be responsible for all of Coastal's boat and barge maintenance. Buffo holds a B.S. degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in King's Point, N.Y.
