Aker Solutions Revenue Steady

EBITDA margin ex. EBIT margin ex. Aker Solutions' revenue was steady at NOK 8 billion in the second quarter of 2015 from a year earlier amid progress on major projects from Africa to Norway and Brazil. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were NOK 376 million, compared with NOK 472 million a year earlier. Aker Solutions secured NOK 3.4 billion in orders in the quarter, including a key maintenance, modifications and operations contract from ExxonMobil for engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance services at the Hebron oilfield offshore Canada. The company won strategically significant orders for early-phase studies for existing and potential offshore field developments in Malaysia, Australia, the Gulf of Mexico and Norway, including the Barents Sea.

Aker Solutions Report Solid, Not Spectacular Financial Progress

Aker Solutions ASA release fourth quarter and preliminary annual results 2012. Aker Solutions reported revenues of NOK 12.0 billion and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of NOK 1.2 billion in the fourth quarter of 2012. Based on the preliminary annual results, which show revenues of NOK 44.9 billion and EBITDA of NOK 4.7 billion, the Board of Directors proposes to pay a dividend of NOK 4.00 per share. "The performance in the fourth quarter can be described as solid, rather than spectacular. The first full year of operation since the restructuring of Aker Solutions has generated strong results, mainly due to favourable development in the larger business areas like Subsea, Drilling Technologies, MMO and Engineering.

STX Europe Q4 2009 Results

In the fourth quarter 2009 STX Europe reported an EBITDA of NOK -44 million compared with NOK -728 million in the fourth quarter of 2008. The 2009 preliminary EBITDA was NOK 133 million compared with NOK -400 million in 2008. Offshore & Specialized Vessels continue to perform well with an EBITDA result of NOK 250 million in the fourth quarter and a preliminary 2009 EBITDA of NOK 643 million (NOK -29 million in 2008). The Cruise & Ferries business area had fourth quarter EBITDA of  NOK -104 million, and a preliminary 2009 EBITDA of NOK -209 million (NOK 103 million in 2008). At the Cruise & Ferries yards, a reduced orderbook combined with low order intake has resulted in restructuring and capacity adjustments.
