Petrobras Awards $70M Deal to DOF's Brazilian Subsidiaries

Brazilian oil company Petrobras has awarded service contracts to DOF's Brazilian subsidiaries to Norskan Offshore Ltda. and DOF Subsea Serviços Brasil Ltda.The contracts are for the Skandi Iguazu AHTS vessel including ROV. The contracts will start in the fourth quarter of 2022 and will have a duration of three years. Petrobras will have options to extend the contracts for two more years. The total contract value for the firm period is about 70 million.

DOF Wins $260M in AHTS, ROV Deals with Petrobras in Brazil

Oslo-listed offshore vessel operator DOF has, through its Brazilian subsidiaries, won new long-term charter and service contracts with Petrobras for four AHTS vessels and ROVs. The vessels, Skandi Angra, Skandi Paraty, Skandi Urca, and Skandi Fluminense, (AHTS 18000 class), currently operating for Petrobras and equipped with DOF Subsea's work class ROVs, have been contracted for 3 years firm + 2 years options with Petrobras. The gross value of the contracts is around $260 million and with a planned start-up in the fourth quarter of 2022. The contracts have been awarded to DOF's subsidiaries Norskan Offshore Ltda. and DOF Subsea Serviços Brasil Ltda.

DOF in Standstill Agreement with Lenders

Norwegian offshore support and subsea service vessel owners DOF and DOF Subsea have reached stand-still agreements with lenders representing to 93% secured debt of DOF companies. The agreement means all payments of principal and interest to the secured lenders are suspended until 30 June 2020 on certain customary terms and conditions. The deal does not cover payments on the NOK 100 million credit facility provided to DOF Subsea AS by certain of its lenders on March 27, 2020 to cover its immediate liquidity needs…

DOF Subsea wins three year IMR agreement

In Asia Pacific, DOF Subsea has been awarded a 3-year IMR frame agreement with one of the major oil and gas companies in the region. DOF Subsea has recently secured a Safety Case for Geoholm, and the vessel will be available in the Asia Pacific region from the beginning of Q2 2017. In a statement, CEO Mons S. Aase said, "I am very pleased with the performance of the team in Perth. Mons added: "Including Geoholm, we will have 5 advanced subsea vessels in the region, with an average age of 6 years. Our subsea fleet in the Asia Pacific region is well diversified and well suited for projects within all our operating segments: IMR, survey, diving, mooring and construction". Last week, DOF's subsidiary Norskan Offshore Ltda was awarded a 1+1 year contract with Petrobras for Skandi Botafogo.

Skandi Paraty Delivered and On-hire

Skandi Paraty, owned by Norskan Offshore Ltda, has been delivered from the yard and went on-hire on a four years contract with Petrobras.   Skandi Paraty is an AHTS, Vard AH11 design, and is the last vessel in a series of three, all built at Vard Niteroi in Brazil.

DOF Sells Five Ships in Brazil

DOF’s subsidiary Norskan Offshore in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has entered an agreement to sell five ships operating in Brazil. The ships included in the agreement are Skandi Copacabana, UT 722 L, built 2005; Skandi Leblon, UT 755 L, built  2004; Skandi Flamengo, UT 755 L, built  2003; Skandi Yare, UT 755, built 2001 and Skandi Stolmen, UT 755, built 1997. The buyers are companies owned by a Brazilian Private Equity Fund managed by Mantiq Investimentos and Mare Investimentos, based in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Norskan Offshore Ltda.

Aker Yards to build AHTS for NorSkan Offshore

Aker Yards has been awarded a contract worth approximately $47.5 million by NorSkan Offshore Ltda., Brazil, to build an Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel. Delivery is scheduled for April 2007. NorSkan Offshore is an offshore supply vessel company owned by Solstad Offshore ASA and DOF ASA in Norway on a 50/50 basis, and is focusing on the strong Brazilian offshore vessel market.
