Oceanteam appoints Leidus Bosman as New CEO

Dutch offshore services company Oceanteam ASA announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Leidus Bosman as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from 15 October 2018.Diederik Legger, former Board Member of Oceanteam and acting as interim CEO since 16 May 2018 resigns per 15 October  2018. Thereafter Legger will remain connected to the Company in the role of advisor to the Board of Directors. Royal IHC Acquires KCI from Oceanteam

Dutch supplier of vessels, equipment and services for the offshore, dredging and wet mining markets Royal IHC said it has acquire all of the outstanding share capital of Dutch based engineering and consultancy company KCI the Engineers B.V. from Dutch-Norwegian offshore service provider Oceanteam ASA. IHC said it plans to maintain KCI as an independent brand and operating company which will continue to serve external clients while also working on IHC projects. Diederik van Rijn, IHC Group Executive Director, said, “The acquisition KCI fits within the overall strategy of IHC to further develop into a provider of knowledge and technology based services and products.

Oceanteam Wins Offshore Renewable Contract

Oceanteam ASA announced that it had signed a contract with BARD Engineering GmbH for Inter Array Cable Installation Services associated with the BARD Offshore 1 Wind Farm, due for installation in 2009 & 2010. The contract will be executed in Q2 / Q3 - 2009 and Q1 / Q2 - 2010. The commercial terms between the parties remain confidential. The BARD Offshore 1 Wind Farm, consists of a 80 inter array cable installation and trenching programme with 30 WTG's in 2009 and 50 WTG's in 2010. The contract will be executed with the CLV Team Oman and Oceanteam trenching TROV OceanJet 900. The estimated contract value is Euro 24 million.
