Mainprize Offshore Orders Another Wind Farm Service Vessel from Manor Marine

UK-based Manor Marine UK Ltd has secured a contract with Mainprize Offshore to build a second offshore wind farm service vessel, following the win of the building contract for the MO8 in 2021. The second vessel to be built at the site in Portland, UK, for Mainprize Offshore, the MO9, will be another 26-meter Supa-Swath catamaran designed by Walker Marine Design and due for delivery in early 2023.The build of the MO9 will mark the seventh crew transfer vessel constructed by Manor Marine…

Offshore Cargo Carrying and A60 module company OEG Offshore (OEG) is moving into Norway, Congo and Myanmar for the first time, with its acquisition of AOR Containers, a major player in Europe, Africa and Asia. OEG Offshore Acquires OSCA Environmental Services

Cargo-carrying unit, OEG Offshore, announced its gain of OSCA Environmental Services Ltd., saying the acquisition expands its international reach in the Caspian region. OEG has acquired OSCA's 2,500-unit stock has multiple bases including: Baku, Azerbaijan and Aktau, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan. Additional stocking locations include: Sakhalin, Russia, Gabon, Congo and Angola. This acquirement is OEG’s second major global move in less than two months, following the establishment of a Joint Venture with Unique Maritime Group, providing offshore equipment for rental and sale in the ME.

Unique Maritime Group, an integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solutions provider, announced a joint venture agreement with OEG Offshore (OEG), to offer the rental and sale of offshore equipment in the Middle East region. The new joint venture company, OEG Unique, which will be based in UAE & QATAR, will provide local access to OEG’s full range of over 200 individual certified designs of DNV 2.7-1 certified Cargo Carrying Units (CCUs) and A60 modules across the GCC countries.

Middle East Offshore Equipment Supply: New J/V Set Up

Leading integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solutions provider, Unique Maritime Group, says it has signed a Joint Venture (J/V) with OEG Offshore (OEG), to offer rental and sale of offshore equipment in the Middle East region. The new joint venture company, OEG Unique, which will be based in UAE & QATAR, will provide local access to OEG’s full range of over 200 individual certified designs of DNV 2.7-1 certified Cargo Carrying Units (CCUs) and A60 modules across the GCC countries. Unique says the partners have jointly invested over USD 1million in new equipment including offshore containers, baskets, half heights, tanks and waste equipment rated to the leading international standards DNV 2.7-1 and EN 12079.

OEG Offshore Expands Rental Fleet

Global offshore equipment firm OEG Offshore said it is investing record funds to expand its rental fleet. The Aberdeen-based company, which provides specialist offshore cargo carrying units (CCUs) and other equipment to the oil and gas industry around the world, has set its 2014 spending budget at $22 million (£13.4m), its highest yet.
