Seacor Announces JV with Cosco Shipping Affiliates

Offshore services vessel operator SEACOR Marine Holdings Inc. said it has formed a jointly owned company with affiliates of the world’s largest ship owner, COSCO Shipping Group. The Marshall Islands company, SEACOSCO Offshore LLC, entered into contracts for the purchase of eight Rolls-Royce designed new construction platform supply vessels (PSV) from COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. Six of the PSVs are of UT 771WP design (4,400 tons deadweight), and two are of UT 771CD design (3,800 tons deadweight).

Both Trinity companies share two shipyards—in Gulfport, Mississippi and New Orleans, Louisiana—and employ 650 personnel and 200 subcontractors.

Hercules Offshore Acquires Two Jack-up Rigs

Hercules Offshore, LLC, a leading jack-up drilling and liftboat contractor in the Gulf of Mexico, announced today the acquisition of two jack-up rigs in separate transactions. On January 4, 2005, Hercules Drilling Company LLC, a subsidiary of Hercules Offshore, LLC, completed the acquisition of Rig 25J from Parker Drilling Offshore USA, LLC, a subsidiary of Parker Drilling Company. Rig 25J is an independent leg cantilever jack-up capable working in water depths of 200 feet. On January 13, 2005, Hercules Drilling Company completed the acquisition of the Odin Victory from Porterhouse Offshore L.P. The Odin Victory is a mat- supported jack-up capable of working in water depths of 250 feet.

FMT Industries Orders Four Additional Tank Barges from TY Offshore

TY Offshore, LLC announced that FMT Industries ordered four additional 297’6” x 54’ x 12’, 30,000 barrel tank barges. With this new order and options for additional barges, TY Offshore will build up to 34 barges for FMT Industries. TY Offshore has already delivered six tank barges of the same class. Chiles Offshore Enters Into Arrangement

Chiles Offshore LLC has begun a bareboat charter arrangement with Perforadora Central of Mexico City, who is the owner of the Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit, Tonala. Designed by LeTourneau, Tonala is a super 116-C cantilever jackup able to work in up to 350 ft. of water, built for Perforadora by TDI Halter Marine. Completed this past January, Tonala is expected to enter service in mid-March 2000, where it will commence a contract with CNG Producing Company to drill two wells in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico over the course of 60 days.

FMT to Build 4 Barges at Trinity

Pasentine, says, “The order is part of Florida Marine’s ongoing commitment to meet its customers’ needs.

Seacor Smit Reports Securities Repurchase Increase

Seacor Smit noted that its Board of Directors had raised its previously announced securities repurchase program by $55 million - resulting in an approximate increase of $73.5 million available to the Company for such purposes. The securities covered by the repurchase program include the Company's common stock, its 5 3/8 percent convertible subordinated notes due 2006, its 7.2 percent senior notes due 2009 and the 10 percent senior notes due 2008 of its affiliate Chiles Offshore LLC. The repurchase of securities would be conducted from time to time through open market purchases, privately negotiated transactions or otherwise, depending on market conditions.

MARAD Approves Title XI Loan for Gray Offshore

A $12 million Title XI loan guarantee supporting the recent construction of three oceangoing deck barges was recently approved by the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD). The three barges, Julius, Cordie and Gwendolyn, were built by Conrad Industries for barge leasing company Gray Offshore, LLC and are currently in service in the Gulf Coast on project cargo moves in Mexico and transporting modules for U.S. refinery upgrades. Carneiro to Head Tesla’s Brazil Operations

Randall P. Bergeron, President, Tesla Offshore LLC has announced that Donizeti Carneiro has joined Tesla Offshore LLC as the company’s area manager for South America, with an office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For the past 13 years Donizeti has been involved with the Brazilian offshore oil and gas industry, ten of those years managing C&C Technologies’ efforts in that area. At the beginning of his professional career, Donizeti worked as a civil engineer and after five years he pursued a PhD degree in Geophysics and shifted his career to mining, oil and gas and applied Geophysics projects.

Jackson Offshore Receives Minority Certification

Lee Jackson, President and CEO of Jackson Offshore LLC, a provider of high specification crewboat services in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, announced the company’s recent certification as a minority business in the state of Louisiana. Jackson Offshore was formed in part to provide dedicated crewboat services to major oil and offshore service companies wishing to contract with companies involved in the reinvestment and rejuvenation of southern Louisiana and especially New Orleans. The company is based in downtown New Orleans and is similarly dedicated to advancing minority participation in the US offshore marine industry. SEACOR and Nabors Announce Letter of Intent for Offshore Vessel Fleet

SEACOR Holdings Inc. and Nabors Industries Ltd. have entered into a letter of intent to form a new company to own and operate a fleet of 20 offshore support vessels currently owned by a Nabors affiliate. A subsidiary of SEACOR will be the majority owner of the new company, Sea Mar Offshore LLC and will manage its 19 US flag and one foreign flag vessels. Nabors will be a minority owner of Sea Mar, which will qualify for US coastwise trade. Early termination of the waiting period under the "Hart-Scott-Rodino" Anti-Trust Improvement Act of 1976 was granted on June 20, 2007. The transaction is subject to definitive documentation and expected to close on or before July 13, 2007.

QCI Wins Contract

QCI Marine Offshore LLC, a Joiner/Electrical company, has been awarded the accommodations and electrical work on Noble Drilling’s Clyde Boudreaux semisubmersible drilling rig. The work scope consists of four levels of new construction for 200 POB. The project will consist of complete outfitting and providing all support services. The project will be executed at Signal International’s shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi. QCI Marine Offshore has offices in Houston, Texas, Pascagoula/Vancleave, Mississippi and Macae, Brazil. To better service their customers, QCI just recently expanded its’ Electrical/Electronics & HVAC capabilities.

SBM Offshore Announces Thunder Hawk Tiebacks

SBM Offshore is pleased to announce it has signed a Production Handling Agreement (PHA) with Noble Energy to produce the Big Bend and Dantzler fields to the Thunder Hawk DeepDraft (TM) Semi located in 6,060 feet of water in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM). Production fees associated with produced volumes are estimated to lead up to projected revenue of US$400 million to be delivered over the ten year primary contract period. First oil from Big Bend and Dantzler are expected in late 2015 and first quarter 2016 respectively. At these levels both fields will utilize a maximum of 85% of total daily asset capacity, and brownfield construction to upgrade the facility will be handled by Noble Energy.

Chiles Offshore LLC Completes Finance Moves To Free Up Cash

Chiles Offshore has raised $15 million through the sale of equity interests to its current equity holders. The proceeds were used by the company to repurchase and retire $15 million aggregate principal amount of its 10% Senior Notes due 2008, resulting in $95 million of Senior Notes remaining outstanding after the repurchase. Following such repurchase, the banks party to the company's existing $25 million credit facility increased the available credit under such facility to $40 million and extended the final maturity for such facility from December 31, 2004 to December 31, 2006. Chiles Offshore owns and operates two new LeTourneau Enhanced and Super 116 class cantilevered drilling units designed to operate in up to 375 ft.

Sonsub and Torch Offshore Sign Frame Agreement

Sonsub has signed a one year Frame Agreement with Torch Offshore, L.L.C to provide ROV support onboard the Midnight Wrangler. Sonsub will be supplying our 200 Hp, in-house designed and built Innovatorâ work class ROV with a depth rating of 3,000m. The Midnight Wrangler is a deepwater construction/pipelay vessel capable of laying rigid pipe, flexible pipe, coiled tubing and umbilicals, utilizing up to four reels, in water depths to 3,000m and beyond. Because both vessel and ROV are able to work in ultra deep waters, both companies feel that this is a very well suited match for the demanding deepwater construction market. The spread will be available for work beginning August 1, 2003.

Trinity Offshore, LLC and FMT Industries, LLC are pleased to announce the christening and launch of FMT 3242, the first of ten 297’6” x 54’ x 12’, 30,000 barrel tank barges. The festivities were held at TY Offshore’s Gulfport, Mississippi facility yesterday, July 24, 2012, and mark the first launch of what will become an entire fleet of barges. The remaining launches will follow on at thirty day intervals. FMT Industries, LLC, is one of the several companies within the Florida Marine Group (Florida Marine). Raceland, LA-based Adriatic Marine LLC has entered into a contract with Harvey Gladiator LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harvey Gulf International Marine LLC, for the purchase of six 205’ DP-1 Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs). The transaction is expected to close in the early fourth quarter of 2013. Sparrows Offshore to Increase U.S. Workforce

Sparrows Offshore LLC (formerly Energy Cranes LLC), the Houston-based offshore crane, fluid power and pipe-laying equipment specialist, has signed contracts in 2010 worth more than $8m. With the new work, the company plans to increase its U.S. workforce by six percent, creating onshore and offshore jobs in the group's Houston and Louisiana operating bases. The new contracts cover crane refurbishment projects for long-term rental projects and new crane sales internationally and in the Gulf of Mexico and have been awarded by customers including Shell, Chevron, Apache, Total, Superior Energy, Transocean, EOG, Nippon, Maritech, Northstar and K-Mesco.
