Acta Marine Orders Second CSV at Ulstein Verft

The Netherlands based Acta Marine, which has a newbuild walk to work construction support vessel (CSV) nearing completion at Ulstein Verft in Norway, has ordered a second CSV at the yard. The second vessel is scheduled for delivery Q2 2019, and is of the SX195 design, the same as the first vessel, Acta Auriga, which will soon go to sea trials before embarking on a two-year charter for operations at BARD Offshore 1 wind farm Germany. Harvey Gulf Makes Software Investment

Harvey Gulf International Marine recently deployed Advanced Logistics’ marine management system SAMM and preventative maintenance module Preventer on its fleet of marine transportation vessels. The software allows a vessel to generate operational reports onboard and transmit the data to shore in real time. The technology includes electronic logs, safety and crew management, commodity tracking, fuel and lube management, GPS mapping, preventative maintenance and more, coupled with an interactive web based interface for easy access to data.

Acclaimed Launches EPOCH for OMM

Software specialists The Acclaimed Software Company Ltd. announced the development of EPOCH , a marine management system on behalf of Offshore Marine Management Limited (OMM). EPOCH is an ESRI-GIS, web-based management system, providing reporting from offshore sites to onshore bases. For example, OMM’s German subsidiary uses EPOCH to manage and control guard vessel operations for offshore wind interconnector installations in the German sector of the North Sea. ABS Nautical Systems Expands in Dubai

ABS Nautical Systems announced that they have been selected as the fleet management software provider of Dubai company Stanford Marine, LLC a provider of offshore marine support services. ABS Nautical Systems’ work with Stanford Marine marks continued expansion in Dubai, with several companies now using the NS5 software suite in the Emirates. Tero Marine Secures Boa Offshore Contract

Tero Marine informs it has secured a multimillion (NOK) contract for delivery of fleet management software to Norwegian shipping company Boa Offshore. The Bergen-based tech company will install its TM Master suite on 14 vessels. TM Master will thus be the preferred fleet management solution for most of the offshore vessels in the Boa fleet, among them the newly named construction vessel Boa Jarl. “We have been reviewing TM Master for a while now, and are impressed by the vast possibilities in this system,” said Helge Kvalvik, CEO in Boa Offshore.

Topaz will install the ABS Nautical Systems Fleet Management Software suite on 58 of its core vessels to more efficiently plan for maintenance work, minimize downtime and reduce costs associated with drydocking. Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Doubles Footprint in Port of Zeebrugge
