FPSO Vessel Revenue to Reach $8.30Bln by 2026

The global floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel market is expected to grow at a robust rate of 11.80% during the forecast period 2016 to 2026. Aker Solutions Wins Services Contract with Petrobras

Petrobras has awarded Aker Solutions a contract to provide maintenance and modifications services for nine platforms at oil and gas fields in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.The Campos Basin extends approximately 100,000 square kilometers. Rosneft and GNPC Arrange LNG Supply to Ghana

Rosneft and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) signed the package of documents assuming the delivery to the port of Tema (Ghana) over 12 years of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the volume of ca. 1.7 mmtpa (or 250 mln standard cubic feet per day), its regasification using the processing capacities of Tema terminal in order to subsequently supply the natural gas to GNPC. The obligations of the parties arising from the above documents will come into effect once they are approved by the Boards of Directors of the parties.

Norway Launches New Licensing Round in Mature Offshore Areas

Norway will hold a new licensing round for its offshore oil and gas fields in already opened areas, further expanding the exploration acreage available to energy firms, the oil ministry said on Wednesday.Areas in the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea and the Barents Sea will be offered to oil companies, who have until September to submit their applications. Maersk Establishes Decomissioning Company

A 50/50 joint venture (JV) between Maersk Drilling and Maersk Supply Service will provide decommissioning services to oil and gas operators. After decades of production, an increasing amount of offshore oil and gas fields are approaching the end of their economic life.
