Troy Container Line VP to Retire

Walter Gimbert, vice president of Troy Container Line, will retire from the company as of May 14, 2015, after more than 20 years of service, the company announced today. “An inspiration to the entire team, Walter’s imprint on the company will continue to influence the company for years to come,” commented Patricia Fitzgerald, Troy’s COO of exports. “Walter’s immeasurable contributions to Troy Container Line have led to the establishment of new services and growth of personnel,” added Michael Cadden Troy, founder and CEO of Troy Container Line.

O’Reilly Named Troy Line Expert Supervisor

Troy Container Line Ltd., one of the largest American-owned NVOCCs, today announced the promotion of Leeanne O’Reilly to Export Supervisor at Troy Container Line. Based in the company’s Red Bank, N.J. office, O’Reilly will oversee the unification of the FCL and LCL Export departments. In this position, she will work closely with the sales team to ensure the superior customer service the company is known for, as the Troy export department continues to evolve to meet the needs of clients worldwide.

Troy Announces Italy Express Service

Troy Container Line has announced an improved express service from Genoa, Italy to New York. Along with its partner Combi Line International Spa, the companies will now offer a 10-day transit from Genoa in addition to pick-ups throughout Italy. The recent announcement, along with its export consolidation services to Italy, solidifies Troy’s standing as a full service provider in this region. Chris Hellow, COO of Imports, worked closely with Maurizio Briglia, of Combi Lines International Spa, to expedite transit times and enhance service capabilities in this market.

Troy Container Announces Atlanta / Singapore / Hong Kong Leg

NVOCC Expands Presence in South Atlantic Market; Adds Ninth New Service in 2013. Troy Container Line, one of the world’s largest American-owned NVOCCs, has announced the launch of new, direct services from Atlanta to Hong Kong and Singapore. The weekly service to Singapore will commence with a maiden voyage out of Charleston on the MOL Proficiency 50w on September 21, 2013. Troy Container Line’s first, weekly Atlanta to Hong Kong service is slated for September 25, 2013 on the Zim Onterio V.021w, also out of Charleston.

The partnership comes just a year after Troy Container Line initiated its direct service to France and is a natural evolution of the success and growth the company has had in the French market. “The entire Troy Container Line team is pleased to partner with CARGOLINES,” commented Patricia Fitzgerald, COO of exports at Troy Container Line. “CARGOLINES’ commitment to service and competitive rates make them an ideal agency partner. ABS Certifies To ISO 14001 Standard

ABS Quality Evaluations Inc. has certified the first offshore platform fabrication company's environmental quality management system to the internationally recognized ISO 14001 standard. The Morgan City, La., facilities of worldwide marine construction company J.Ray McDermott, Inc., was successfully audited by ABS QE to receive this certification. According to ABS QE Auditor Patricia Fitzgerald, the Morgan City facility implemented an integrated Quality, Health and Environmental management system for the entire scope of fabrication and repairing of offshore structures. Since residential neighborhoods and other businesses as well as bayous border the yard, environmental concerns were factored into the overall program. The Environmental Management Systems (EMS) procedures developed by J.
