Japan's First High Pressure Fuel Gas System Ordered

Bestobell Marine, part of the President Engineering Group (PEGL), has received an new order to supply its globe and check valves for Japan’s first high pressure fuel gas system that will be installed within a marine vessel. The order will see Bestobell Marine supply a number of its cryogenic globe and check valves to be installed in two sister ships being built by Imabari Shipbuilding Group in Japan for Elcano. Bestobell Marine’s valves are required for the carrier’s MAN ME-GI engines, where natural gas is injected into the engine at over 300bar pressure.

Bestobell Bags Hat Trick Order in China

Bestobell Marine, part of the President Engineering Group, has received its third order in the past 12 months from Hudong Zhonghua shipyard in China. The deal involves the supply of 460 cryogenic miniature needle globe valves per ship for four Teekay/CNOOC/China Shipping Group LNG (liquefied natural gas) Carriers to be built at the shipyard, which will be chartered by BG Group. Bestobell Extends Valve Range

Bestobell Marine, part of the President Engineering Group Ltd. now offers both butt weld and flanged connections for all its Globe and Check valves. These valves range from small (DN15) to large (DN350). Bestobell to Extend Valve Choice to Customers

Bestobell Marine, part of the President Engineering Group Ltd, has innovated within its range, which means it can now offer both butt weld and flanged connections for all its Globe and Check valves. These valves range from small (DN15) to large (DN350), allowing Bestobell Marine to offer greater flexibility to its customers. Valves with flanged connections are particularly in demand with the Japanese and Korean shipbuilding companies, as they are easier to install and involve less welding.

Bestobell’s Scores Chinese Contract

Bestobell Valves, part of the President Engineering Group, said it has received a major boost to its marine division with the award of a new contract for cryogenic cargo globe valves from the Hudong Zhonghua shipyard in China. The multimillion dollar contract will see the U.K.-based company manufacturing valves for six 174K LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Carriers. The LNGC have been contracted by Sinopec, China Shipping Group and MOL of Japan to ship coal bed LNG from the Gladstone field in Australia back to China.

Bestobell Valves, part of the President Engineering Group (PEGL), attended the Gastech 2014 exhibition in South Korea recently and said it had a great response from visitors across the globe, including a significant number from South Korea and Japan. The company showcased its cryogenic valves, which are already widely used for industrial gas, LNG marine and land-based LNG (liquefied natural gas) applications across the world. W&O caps a busy year with two additional deals intended to penetrate the busy offshore markets with cutting edge products. For many, the recently announced W&O Supply partnership agreements might come as just another piece of news in the busy marine markets. For starters, however, W&O Supply is now the exclusive sales agent for PG Marine Group – Ing Per Gjerdrum AS – in North America. Separately, Bestobell Valves, part of the President Engineering Group (PEGL), also named W&O Supply as its exclusive distributor for Bestobell Valves in North America. Finally, and in concert with PG Marine in a 3-way partnership, W&O was also named as the exclusive North American sales distributor for the Hyde GUARDIAN Ballast Water Treatment solution (BWTS) to the marine industry.

100th LNG Carrier to be Fitted with Bestobell FLIV

Bestobell Valves, part of the President Engineering Group, announced a new contract which brings the total of orders for its innovative patented Float Level Insulation Valves (FLIV) across the world to over 100. Bestobell Valves Used on High-speed LNG Ferry

Bestobell Valves, part of the President Engineering Group (PEGL), has supplied valves to what has become the fastest LNG (liquefied natural gas) fuelled ferry ever built. The specialist cryogenic valve manufacturer produced 70 globe, check and thermal relief valves, which were supplied to Chart Ferox, a company based in the Czech Republic, which manufactured the fuel system for the ferry. Bestobell Valves has enjoyed a long working relationship of over 20 years with Chart Ferox, a company which specializes in the manufacture of cryogenic storage vessels.
