Topaz Bags Wind Charter

Dubai-based Marine logistics company Topaz Energy and Marine (Topaz) has signed an agreement with a north European contractor for the charter of Topaz's newbuild for offshore wind farms in the North Sea.The contractor will charter Topaz’s newbuild subsea vessel, Topaz Tangaroa, for work on renewable energy projects, primarily in support of offshore wind farms in the southern North Sea. Norwegian based Reach Subsea said it has entered an agreement with Dubai headquartered Topaz Energy and Marine to charter newbuild light subsea construction vessel Topaz Tiamat for 2.5 years, plus three one-year options.The Norwegian-built vessel will be deployed under a cooperation agreement between Reach and Sweden's MMT. MMT Inks 10 New Contracts over 2 Months

Reach Subsea Scores Work in Houston

Norwegian based offshore services provider Reach Subsea said its Houston office has secured several contracts from oil majors in the region, comprising some 100 days of work.Reach Subsea opened its Houston office earlier this year with sights on expanding its services into the important subsea hub. Reach Subsea Bags Statoil Contract

Norway-based Reach Subsea has been awarded a Frame Agreement for Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) services to Statoil Petroleum.The frame agreement has a duration of five years, and commences in 2019.Commercial terms under the agreement are confidential between the parties. Reach Subsea Charters Subsea Vessel Olympic Challenger

Reach Subsea has entered into an agreement with Olympic Subsea for use of the subsea vessel Olympic Challenger for two years, with an option to extend for one year. The commercial terms of the charter agreement are confidential between the parties, but is structured in a way that enables Reach to offer a competitive subsea service to our clients. The vessel already has two ROVs mobilized on board, which Reach will lease initially. Thus, investments associated with this expansionary move are limited at the outset.

Reach Subsea Enters Survey Deal for Edda Fonn

Norwegian owner of offshore inspection vessels Reach Subsea has secured a contract for its Edda Fonn vessel. According to Reach Subsea, the contract is for an ROV/survey work covering the next 40 days for Edda Fonn. Commencement will be this week. The details in the contract are confidential. Edda Fonn is a vessel used for IMR, survey and light construction services. The company claims that Edda Fonn is a high quality, cost effective and flexible vessel for IMR, survey and light construction services.

GC Rieber Shipping ASA has entered into a time charter agreement with Reach Subsea for the CSV Polar King to support Norwegian University for Science and Technology’s (NTNU) scientific operation under the MarMine Project in the mid-Atlantic ridge. MMT Presents Surveyor Interceptor ROV (SROV)

At Ocean Business in Southampton  MMT´s key topic was the new Surveyor Interceptor ROV (SROV). Together with its Norwegian partners Reach Subsea AS, MMT developed a new generation, survey ROV, named Surveyor Interceptor (SROV), which is specially designed for pipeline inspection and seabed surveys. The new SROV is designed to provide MMT´s clients with improved, accurate data to a much higher speed resulting in substantially better inspection quality at a lower cost per km. Reach Bags Technip ROV Work

Reach Subsea has secured a deal worth up to Nkr70 million

Reach Subsea has secured a deal worth up to $10.3 million with Technip to provide remote-operated vehicle services on a newbuild subsea construction vessel to be supplied by Eidesvik Offshore. Eidesvik Offshore and Reach Subsea have in partnership entered into a firm contract with Technip in Norway. Reach will execute the contract using Eidesvik Offshore's newbuild TBN Viking Neptun, equipped with Reach ROVs and manned by Eidesvik marine personnel and Reach ROV personnel and engineers.

New Vessel in MMT's Survey Fleet

In what it calls a natural step in the process of expanded subsea services in the oil and gas industry, MMT has signed a two-year charter contract for M/V Stril Explorer, operated by Simon Mökster Shipping AS. MMT said it has conducted various survey assignments from this vessel during several projects in the past. M/V Stril Explorer is an DP2 offshore vessel with a large open deck and is very suitable for launch and recovery operation, for example with ROVs, AUV and geotechnical equipment. The vessel is equipped with a 60 T offshore crane with a working depth of 1,500 m.

DOF Subsea Charters New Vessel for the North Sea

DOF Subsea, a provider of integrated subsea solutions, has chartered a new multipurpose vessel to assist in North Sea operations. The company has entered into a long-term charter agreement with Reach Subsea for the newbuild construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Reach. DOF Subsea has signed a two-year contract with Reach Subsea with two one-year extension options. The Normand Reach is due to be delivered before the end of May 2014 and will replace DOF Subsea’s existing Skandi Bergen vessel for high-end construction projects.
