Menendez took to the floor of the house of the Senate in response to criticisms being leveled by some Republicans over elements of the emergency funding measure which has been proposed by the Obama Administration and supported by Governors Christie and Cuomo. Some seem to be questioning whether this emergency is worthy of a robust federal response.
