High Seas Becoming Less Secure

BMT Earns Safety and Environmental Certification

BMT Scientific Marine Services (BMT), a subsidiary of the international engineering, maritime and risk management consultancy, BMT Group Ltd has successfully obtained certification in the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety standards. As part of the accreditation process, BMT introduced a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System earlier this year that demonstrates compliance with these internationally-recognized standards.

PC Rembrandt Simulator Gains DNV Accreditation

Class S- Standard for Certification of Maritime Simulators No. 2.14 ensures  that the simulations provided by the simulator include an appropriate level of physical and behavioural realism in accordance with recognised training and assessment objectives. BMT ARGOSS Secures DNV Accreditation for PC REMBRANDT

BMT ARGOSS has announced that its marine manoeuvring simulator, PC REMBRANDT has been granted DNV accreditation in accordance with Class S- Standard for Certification of Maritime Simulators No. 2.14 January 2011.
