Seawall Reinstatement at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club

(A) 22 deg. 17.034'N / 114 deg. (B) 22 deg. 17.033'N / 114 deg. (C) 22 deg. 16.995'N / 114 deg. (D) 22 deg. 16.997'N / 114 deg. The works will be carried out by a flotilla of vessels including one derrick barge, two tugs and two work boats. The number of vessels engaged in the works will change from time to time to suit operational requirements. A working area of approximately 15 metres around the barge will be established. Diving operations will be carried out from time to time during the hours of work. The hours of works will be from 0700 to 2300 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works area outside the hours of work.

Dry Land Big Row Benefits Lake Malawi Health Project

Three heroic teams of oarsmen from Thomas Miller P&I in London as well as sister team at Thomas Miller Asia-Pacific have all successfully completed their legs of the Big Row charity event. In total some eighty teams from the international maritime community took part in a 'virtual' row of the length of Lake Malawi to raise funds for the ongoing refurbishment of the 'MV Chauncy Maples' as a medical clinic ship. The main event took place in Spitalfields Market in the City of London on the evening of the 11th September.

Historic Yacht Club Awards Contract to GAC Pindar

GAC Pindar is appointed official shipping and logistics services provider to the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. The contract is to run from July 2012 through to December 2015. The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club will host a number of international sailing regattas over the next couple of years, including the World Sailing Championships for the Flying Fifteens and Etchells classes in 2013 and 2015.
