Squamish Terminals (SQT), a B.C. deep-water, break-bulk terminal, has signed on as a participant to Green Marine. Green Marine encourages its participants, ship owners, ports, terminals and shipyards, to undertake concrete actions that go beyond regulatory requirements aimed at improving environmental performance and sustainability. Green Marine’s success is based on a 5-year track record of participating companies demonstrating improved environmental performance. Squamish Terminals already stands out for its environmental stewardship by being regular participants in the Squamish Estuary Management Committee and hosting the annual Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup in Squamish.
