Battery management system manufacturer Wells Marine Technology has launched a space-saving flat panel model of its Total Automatic Battery Management System (T.A.B.S.) that can be configured easily for any single, twin or triple engine application and can also be custom-designed to builder model specifications. Wells T.A.B.S. connects battery chargers, DC electric panels and equipment to save boat builders time, money and storage space while eliminating confusing battery selector switches for boat owners.

The Magnalight BL70-LED Magnetic Mount Blasting Light from Larson Electronics' uses LED technology and heavy duty materials and design to provide operators with an LED blasting light that can provide excellent illumination while resisting the damaging effects of operation in media blasting applications. Larson Electronics Adds High powered LED Blasting Light

The Magnalight BL40-LED Blasting Light from Larson Electronics' combines advanced LED technology with rugged construction to produce a high powered LED blasting light capable of withstanding the demanding conditions found in sand, water, and media blasting operations. This IP68 rated 120 watt LED blasting light produces 7,200 lumens of intense light, is waterproof to three meters, corrosion resistant, available in spot or flood configurations, and can be operated with voltages ranging from 9 to 46 volts.

Iyanough Employs NVTi Technology

Commissioned on March 24, the 154 ft. fast ferry Iyanough is now servicing nearly 400 passengers on each of its eight daily trips between Hyannis and Nantucket, Massachusetts. For the safety of the ship and its passengers, Iyanough is equipped with a night/day vision system from Night Vision Technologies (NVTi). The aluminum catamaran was designed by Australia-based Incat-Crowther and built by Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding of Somerset, Mass. NVTi dealer MacDougall's Cape Cod Marine Services in Falmouth, Mass. assisted with the sale and installation of the 3000 series night vision system for Iyanough.
