Ameritex Fabric Systems Debuts "Weatherguard"

Ameritex Fabric Systems, a member of the Taylor Made Group and the leading supplier of engineered canvas enclosures, tops and covers for OEM boatbuilders, is introducing a new, exclusive fabric to the marine industry. “We’re calling it WeatherGuard™,” said Don Zirkelbach, president of Ameritex Fabric Systems. “It’s strong. It’s durable. Made of solution-dyed polyester, WeatherGuard™ will maintain its color even when exposed to the elements for long periods of time. The fabric is resistant to water, tearing, abrasion, UV and mildew. It will remain soft and pliable, and it’s lightweight, making it easy to fold and store. “After years and years of experience in the marine market, we at Ameritex know what it takes to make a robust fabric that boaters can depend on,” said Zirkelbach.
