CGG Plans to Delist from the NYSE

Seaspan Appoints Bing Chen As Chief Executive Officer

Seaspan Corporation announced that Bing Chen will be joining the Company as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and appointed to the Board of Directors in January, 2018. Gerry Wang will be retiring as CEO and Director of Seaspan effective November 3. Upon Wang’s retirement, Peter Curtis, executive vice president and chief operating officer, will also serve as Seaspan’s interim chief executive officer until Chen’s arrival, after which he will continue in his current role. NY Shipping Conference Speakers Announced

Conference organizers have announced the speaker lineup for the 21st annual Hellenic-American and Norwegian-American Chambers of Commerce conference, often called the New York Shipping Conference. Entitled “The Life of a Ship”, the conference will feature luminaries including Steinar Nerbovik of Aker Philadelphia Shipyard, Ben Ognibene of Heidmar, Craig Stevenson Jr., Joseph Hughes of Shipowners Claims Bureau, Paal Johansen of DNV GL, and Angela Chao of Foremost Group . The event will be held on Wednesday, February 11 at the Waldorf-Astoria starting at 8:15 a.m. with conference registration and continental breakfast sponsored by DNB Bank ASA. DryShips Re-state Amended US$1.9-Billion Credit Agreement

(“DFHI”), and Drillships Projects Inc., have entered into an Amendment and Restatement Agreement to the Credit Agreement dated as of July 12, 2013. “We are pleased with the successful closing of this important transaction which extends Ocean Rig’s debt maturities. Navios Appoints George Malanga to Board

Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. (NYSE:NM), a global, vertically integrated seaborne shipping and logistics company, announced the appointment of George Malanga to its Board of Directors. George Malanga is currently serving as the Chief Credit Officer of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. Manitowoc Completes Senior Subordinated Notes Redemption

The Manitowoc Company said that it has completed the previously announced redemption of its 10.5% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2012. The call premium paid to note holders was 105.25% of the principal amount of the notes. The total cash paid was $129 million which included the call price, accrued and unpaid interest and other related costs at the time of redemption. The Bank of New York, trustee for the issue, redeemed the notes through its New York office. Manitowoc generated proceeds for the redemption of the notes from its multi-currency revolving credit facility, its accounts receivable securitization facility and cash on hand. Morgan Stanley May Run Larger Tankers for Oil Trades

Morgan Stanley plans to expand its oil tanker business as global demand for crude rises, according to two people briefed on the discussions, according to Bloomberg. The company is considering operating suezmaxes, 1 million- barrel vessels that would be the largest Morgan Stanley controls, said the people, who declined to be identified because the plan is still being debated. The ships often haul crude from West Africa and the Black Sea to the U.S. and Europe. Morgan Stanley, which has traded crude oil since 1984, wants to bolster its shipping unit to compete with companies such as Glencore International AG and Vitol Group. The New York-based company purchased a tanker operator last year for $200 million.

Sea Containers Extends Exchange Offer

Sea Containers Ltd. marine container lessor, passenger and freight transport operator, and leisure industry investor, has extended the exchange offer for its outstanding 9-1/2% Senior Notes due 2003 and 10-1/2% Senior Notes due 2003, which commenced on May 28, 2003, until 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Friday, June 27, 2003. The date by which Notes may be tendered through the guaranteed delivery procedure described in the exchange offer materials will not be extended. Accordingly, certificates representing any Notes tendered pursuant to the guaranteed delivery procedure must be received by The Bank of New York, the exchange agent for the exchange offer, not later than 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Monday, June 30, 2003. As of 10:00 a.m.
