IHC Hytech, Fathom Systems Enter Distributor Agreement
Two commercial offshore diving companies, IHC Hytech and Fathom Systems, joined forces by signing a new international distributor agreement that was signed on May 7, 2013. Under the terms of the agreement, IHC Hytech will distribute Fathom Systems’ products in the commercial diving, hyperbaric tunneling and medical equipment markets. Based in Raamsdonksveer in The Netherlands, IHC Hytech is part of IHC Merwede, and designs and manufactures equipment for offshore diving and other related markets. Its product portfolio ranges from small portable breathing gas panels, to complete turnkey hyperbaric multi-chamber systems that are supplied complete with environmental control units.
Nautronix Strengthen Sales Force
Nautronix specialists in through water communications and positioning technologies, has announced the appointment of 3 Vice Presidents to their sales team. Experienced subsea development manager, Dan Williams, is serving as the company’s VP Sales, Commercial Acoustics. In his new role, Dan will assume direct responsibility for building the awareness of Nautronix ADS² technology in the global marketplace. He will also facilitate the company’s development in the diver communications market.
Chang Awarded Honorary Doctorate
Dr Chang Yung-fa, Group Chairman of the Evergreen Group, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Transport and the title Honorary Academician by the Russian Academy of Transport. Dr Chang Yung-fa, Group Chairman of the Evergreen Group, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Transport and the title Honorary Academician by the Russian Academy of Transport in recognition of his contributions and innovations in international transportation and his dedication to maritime education. The Russian Academy of Transport confers honorary doctorates to commemorate major achievements by individuals in the field of transportation. Dr Chang is the first Asian entrepreneur to receive this honor.
