Havyard Delivers Final Wellboat for Frøy

The vessel Åsværfjord, which is the sixth ship in the Havtrans series, is leaving Havyard Leirvik to go into service for Frøy.Managing director of the yard, Tor Leif Mongstad, says they must have broken the world record for start-up on these kinds of ships.‘I do not think there is anyone who can compare with us when it comes to starting up this type of ships. Havyard Leirvik Delivers Sixth SOV to Esvagt

Norwegian shipbuilder Havyard Leirvik has delivered another offshore wind service operation vessel (SOV) to Danish vessel owner Esvagt.The vessel, Esvagt Havelok, is the third and last of the ‘triplet ships’ built by Havyard for Esvagt. FEMCO Contracts Havyard for Ice Breaker Newbuild

Havyard has been commissioned to design and build an ice breaker vessel for Russian shipping company FEMCO, to be designed by Havyard Design & Solutions in Fosnavaag, Norway and is going to be constructed at Havyard Ship Technology`s shipyard in Leirvik in Sogn, Norway. The vessel will become newbuild no.122 and is due to be delivered in September 2015. The Russian shipping company has also secured an option for the construction of one further Havyard 843 Ice. Havyard has experience in constructing icebreakers for Russian shipowners.
