Aqueos Charters Otto Candies DSV
Subsea services company Aqueos Corporation said it has entered into a multi-year agreement with vessel owner Otto Candies for the charter of the US-built multi-role DP-2 diving support vessel (DSV) Kelly Ann Candies.The high spec vessel has a built-in 14-man Draeger saturation diving system complete with three-man bell, moon-pool bell launch with cursor, self propelled hyperbaric lifeboat (SPHL), 60-ton crane and berthing for 76 persons. Unique Hydra Unveils the HYDRACraft Series
Unique (UH), a division of the Unique Maritime Group (UMG), received its second order this year for its diving daughter craft system called the HYDRACraft. Unique Hydra has spent the past 12months engaging with clients to understand their diving daughter craft operational and equipment requirements and developing a purpose built vessel which includes a fully integrated dive system. Diving Daughtercraft systems are used in diving operations where the conventional diving DSV is not able to position itself close enough to an FPSO or Offshore Platform.
Unique Hydra Signs Agency Agreement with EIVA
Unique Hydra, a Unique Maritime Group Company, an integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solution provider, recently signed an agency agreement with EIVA to represent its products and services in the southern part of Africa. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Unique Hydra is a manufacturer and supplier of marine and diving equipment to the oil and gas industry. Unique Hydra personnel have substantial experience in marine engineering, hyperbaric, military defense, aerospace, nuclear and chemical engineering.
