Wave Energy Developer Plots Strong Growth Plan in '22, IPO in '23

South Korean wave energy developer INGINE revealed ambitious growth plans for 2022,its10th anniversary.Today the company is approaching a landmark fifth year of wave energy operation in North East Asia, via the Jeju Bukchon Wave Power Plant built in 2015. Panama Canal Voted Among Most Trusted Institutions

According to the latest AmericasBarometer survey, the Panama Canal Authority is considered one of the most trusted institutions in Panama. The survey is coordinated by Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Panama Canal has a 69.8% trust index. In the previous survey, conducted in 2010, the Panama Canal was also ranked among the top-rated organizations with a 70%. The results are based on a survey conducted among 1,500 Panamanians throughout the country. The survey has a 2.5% margin of error. The AmericasBarometer survey takes place every two years since 1991. It currently covers 26 nations from North, Central and South America and the Caribbean

Ring, Director at CMA CGM (America)

CMA CGM (America) LLC has named Timothy Ring Director, Inbound Trade and Government Cargo. In his new role, Tim will be responsible for the growth and development of inbound cargo volumes for the company’s transatlantic, Oceania, and Indian Subcontinent services. He will also continue to oversee all U.S. government shipments. Tim joined the Washington, D.C. office of CMA CGM in November 2005. Since then, he has developed and managed the company’s PL-480 / Title II program for the carriage of food aid worldwide.

Panama Canal Receives ISO 14001

More than 100 people at the Miraflores Locks as Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance awarded upon the Department of Security and Environment's Environmental Division of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) the coveted ISO 14001 certification. Juan Héctor Diaz, director of the Department of Security and Environment, accepted the certification at a ceremony at the Miraflores Locks Visitor's Center. Participants included the Academy for Environmental Education Development (AED), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI), Panama Ministry of Health (MINSA), Panama National Environment Authority (ANAM) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
