Transocean Provides New Fleet Update Summary

Transocean Inc. issued a new monthly fleet update summary covering only newly signed contracts, significant changes to existing contracts and changes to estimated out of service time of 60 days or more since our fleet status report dated August 5, 2008. The new monthly fleet update summary is intended to simplify the fleet review and modeling process for those following the company. Going forward, we will issue a comprehensive fleet status report covering Transocean's entire 137-rig fleet shortly after the end of each calendar quarter, and we will update such report during the intervening months by issuing monthly fleet update summaries.

Transocean Ltd. has issued its monthly Fleet Update Summary which includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out-of-service time of 15 or more days since February 18, 2014. The total value of new contracts since the February 18, 2014 Fleet Update Summary is approximately $14 million. GSF Galaxy III - Awarded an approximate two and one-half month contract extension for use as an accommodation unit in the U.K. sector of the North Sea at a dayrate of $180,000 ($14 million estimated backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $226,000.

Offshore contract drilling services provider Transocean Limited's monthly Fleet Update Summary includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out-of-service time of 15 or more days since November 18, 2013. The total value of new contracts since the November 18, 2013 Fleet Update Summary is approximately US$292-million. Cajun Express - Awarded a six-well contract at a dayrate of $495,000 ($181 million estimated backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $600,000.

Transocean Ltd. today issued a monthly fleet update summary which includes newly signed contracts, significant changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out of service time of 15 days or longer for all rig classifications since the previously issued comprehensive fleet status report or fleet update summary. Deepwater Expedition - Awarded a two-year contract with an undisclosed customer commencing December 2012 at an initial dayrate of $650,000 ($475 million contract backlog). Additionally, the contract includes three priced eight-month option periods. Discoverer Seven Seas - Awarded a three-well contract (approximately 180 days) for work offshore Indonesia at a dayrate of $445,000 ($80 million contract backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $295,000.

Transocean Ltd. today issued a monthly fleet update summary which includes new contracts, changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out-of-service time of 15 or more days since August 21, 2014. According to the update, the total value of Transocean’s new contracts since the August 21, 2014 fleet update summary is approximately $115 million. Transocean Honor  was awarded a one year contract extension in Angola at a dayrate of $194,000 ($71 million estimated backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $155,000. Transocean's fleet update summary includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated OofS time. The value of new contracts or extensions since the November 18, 2012 fleet update summary is approximately US$119=million. Estimated 2012 out of service time (OofS increased by a net 40 days, including 22 days to complete repairs on the Henry Goodrich and 19 days to complete work scope on the GSF Explorer. Estimated 2013 out of service time decreased by a net 17 days.

Transocean Ltd today issued a monthly Fleet Update Summary, which includes new contracts, changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out-of-service time of 15 or more days since the February 17, 2015 Fleet Update Summary. The total value of new contracts since the last report is approximately $9 million. •             Sedco Express - Awarded a one-well contract extension offshore Nigeria at a dayrate of $300,000 ($9 million estimated backlog). •             Henry Goodrich is idle. •             Ultra-deepwater floaters Discoverer Spirit, GSF Jack Ryan, Deepwater Discovery, and Deepwater Pathfinder are stacked. The rigs were previously idle. •             Estimated 2015 planned out-of-service time decreased by a net 102 days, mainly associated with the Henry Goodrich.

Drilling rig status and contract information on the company's offshore drilling fleet has been condensed into a report titled "Transocean Fleet Status Report," which is available through the company's Worldwide Web address at www.deepwater.com. The value of new contracts or extensions since the December 17, 2012 fleet update summary is approximately $235 million. Estimated 2012 out of service time decreased by a net 15 days. Estimated 2013 out of service time increased by a net 205 days, including 253 days to reactivate the Sedco 712 in anticipation of potential contracts. Sedco 714 - Awarded an 18-month contract extension at a dayrate of $435,000 ($235 million contract backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $398,000. Well Control Equipment Recertification - The company has now obtained third party certification of well control equipment on 41 of its 64 active floaters, including 24 of its 27 ultra-deepwater rigs.

Transocean's latest comprehensive Fleet Status Report provides the current status and contract information for the company's entire fleet of offshore drilling rigs. The total value of new contracts since the December 18, 2013 Fleet Update Summary is approximately $48 million. GSF Arctic III - Awarded a two-well contract in the U.K. sector of the North Sea at a dayrate of $410,000 ($48 million estimated backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $339,000. Sedco Energy and Transocean Marianas, ultra-deepwater and deepwater floaters, respectively, are idle.

The high-specification jackup, GSF Magellan, is held for sale. Estimated 2014 planned out-of-service time decreased by a net five days; estimated 2015 planned out-of-service time increased by a net 29 days. Transocean's update summary includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts and changes in estimated planned out-of-service time of 15 or more days since July 17, 2013. The total value of new contracts since the July 17, 2013 fleet status report is approximately $2.5 billion. Estimated 2013 planned out-of-service time decreased by a net 172 days; estimated 2014 planned out-of-service time increased by a net 119 days. Discoverer Inspiration - Awarded a five year contract extension for work in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico at a dayrate of $585,000 ($1.1 billion estimated backlog).

International provider of offshore contract drilling services for oil and gas wells, Transocean Ltd. has issued the report which provides the current status and contract information for the company's entire fleet of offshore drilling rigs. The total value of new contracts since the September 18, 2013 Fleet Update Summary is approximately $2.0 billion. As announced earlier, the company has been awarded a five-year drilling contract for a newbuild dynamically positioned ultra-deepwater drillship by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. Shipyard delivery is scheduled for the second quarter of 2016.

Transocean Latest Rig Fleet Update

The total value of new contracts since Transocean's June 13, 2013 fleet update summary is approximately $180 million. Estimated 2013 out-of-service time increased by a net 76 days primarily due to work to be performed on the Sedco 704. Forecasted out-of-service time for 2014 is also provided on a rig by rig basis. Relative to preliminary guidance provided in February, out-of-service time for 2014 decreased by a net 381 days due to refinements in the timing and scope of projects, including the previously disclosed acceleration of the Deepwater Millennium shipyard project which is expected to commence later in the third quarter of 2013. Deepwater Frontier - Contract modified to be well-based with an associated extension into the fourth quarter of 2014.

The total value of new contracts since the July 16, 2014 fleet status report is approximately $78 million. On July 28, 2014, the newbuild ultra-deepwater drillship, Deepwater Invictus, commenced operations on its three-year contract in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico at a dayrate of $595,000. Additionally, the newbuild ultra-deepwater drillship, Deepwater Asgard, commenced operations on its three-year contract on August 21, 2014 at a dayrate of $600,000. •Jack Bates - Awarded a two-well contract in Australia at a dayrate of $420,000 ($59 million estimated backlog).

The total value of new contracts since the April 17, 2014 Fleet Status Report is approximately $953 million, Transocean said. •Dhirubhai Deepwater KG1 - Awarded a three year contract offshore Brazil at a dayrate of $440,000 ($482 million estimated backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $510,000. •Paul B. Loyd, Jr. - Awarded a two year contract extension in the U.K.

(NYSE: RIG) (SIX: RIGN) has issued a monthly fleet update summary which includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out of service time of 15 or more days since October 17, 2012. Backlog for new contracts or extensions associated with continuing operations since the October 17, 2012 fleet status report is approximately $1.1 billion. Estimated 2012 out of service time for continuing operations increased by a net 25 days; 2013 out of service time decreased by a net 39 days. Estimated out of service time on rigs classified as discontinued operations increased by a net 93 days for 2012 and decreased by a net five days for 2013.

Transocean inform that the total value of new contracts since the September 18, 2013 Fleet Update Summary is approximately US$2.0-billion. The company has been awarded a five-year drilling contract for a newbuild dynamically positioned ultra-deepwater drillship by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. Shipyard delivery is scheduled for the second quarter of 2016. After customer acceptance, the contract is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2016 at a dayrate of $599,000, contributing an estimated revenue backlog of approximately $1.1 billion, excluding mobilization.

The total value of new contracts since the October 15, 2014 Fleet Status Report is approximately $83 million. - Discoverer Enterprise - Awarded a one-well contract extension in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico at a dayrate of $399,000 ($32 million estimated backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $615,000.
