Reftrade UK Invests in Rental Fleet
Reftrade UK, a specialist in the sale and lease of refrigerated containers and temperature controlled units to the offshore energy sector, said it has made a £100,000 investment in its rental fleet to aid further business growth.
The company said its investment will see Reftrade UK take a market-lead as the only rental supplier of 10ft and 20ft explosion proof containers.
Greg Spence, Reftrade UK managing director said, “Following extensive market research, Reftrade UK developed the new zone rated containers to offer our customers flexible and safe storage solutions manufactured to full DNV/EN standards. We are constantly developing our product offering in line with customer requirements. Being the first to offer these containers for rent sets us apart from anything else that is currently available to lease and is an important part of the company’s vision for growth.”
Last year Reftrade UK announced growth plans, with the aim of increasing turnover from £480,000 to £1,250,000.00 over a three year period and is on course to achieve this.
The new product is capable of providing cold storage, in a -20oC to +20oC temperature range, providing a flexible solution for transporting a range of perishable food or goods such as core samples that require specific storage conditions.

Using an integrated business model, Reftrade UK supply, deliver and advise on the rental and sale of all DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079 storage reefers including manufacturing for bespoke projects in both standard and zoned containers.
