While investigators continue to investigate how the Queen Mary 2 sideswiped a channel wall on its way out of Port Everglades, attention now turns to the extent of damage to one of its four pods, and who will be tapped to fix it.
After returning to port when the captain noticed trouble with one of the four engine pods, the cruise ship returned to its voyage carrying 2,543 passengers on a 38-night South American cruise.
Repairs to the pod reportedly will be made after the current cruise, which started Sunday in New York and is scheduled to end in Los Angeles. There’s no word on where the repairs will be completed.
