Seattle-based Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering firm Guido Perla & Associates, Inc. (GPA) opened a subsidiary in Brazil to offer local support to operators and shipyards during the execution of newly developing projects. GPA recently received several contracts from various Brazilian operators for different types of offshore vessels destined to serve Petrobras’ oilfields. Brazilian native José Lescaut Liguori was appointed General Manager of GPA do Brasil. “Local support is a valuable and necessary cornerstone to the foundation of our client’s technical and commercial success.
