Veson Nautical Adds 42 Clients

Veson Nautical, a  provider of commercial maritime software and services, has announced that despite challenging times in the shipping industry, the company has added 42 new clients from around the globe over the past 18 months. Twenty of the new clients are from the wet and gas segments, including shipping notables such as BW Maritime Pte Ltd, Dorian LPG (USA) LLC, ENGIE (formerly GDF Suez Energy Management Trading), Hoegh LNG, and PetroChina International (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Nineteen new clients include well-known dry bulk companies such as Nova Marine Carriers SA, South32 Marketing Pte Ltd and Western Bulk ASA. Trafigura Pte Ltd is one of three new clients that manage a mix of dry and wet business.

Agent-Operator Collaboration Brought into Veslink

Veson Nautical announced the release of the Veslink Agent Portal, a new feature of Veslink, Veson Nautical’s online service that streamlines the collection and distribution of mission-critical maritime data. The Veslink Agent Portal enables port agents to submit Statements of Facts and Port Disbursements against nominated port calls. These standardized forms flow directly into Veslink for approval by voyage operators, and can then be imported into the Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS) to drive further workflows.

Software Solutions Debuts & Upgrades

ABS Nautical Systems continually enhances its NS5 Enterprise software suite of products to meet ever-changing industry demands. Currently in development for release in 2013 are a mobility platform, a new warehouse and inventory management module, as well as a new Hull Inspection 3D module. The mobility platform supports portable devices including scanners, tablet PCs and smartphones. Features will include alert view notifications and mobile calendaring. Norden A/S Selects Veson Nautical's IMOS

Veson Nautical Expands to New Corporate Headquarters

Torm to Install Veson Nautical’s IMOS6

Veson Nautical, provider of Maritime Enterprise Resource Planning (Maritime-ERP) solutions and services, announced that Copenhagen based Torm A/S, ranked by Tanker Operator as one of the world’s top 30 leading carriers of refined oil products, will install version 6 of Veson’s Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS).  Veson Nautical’s software will manage chartering, operations and accounting related functions for TORM’s fleet. TORM’s product tanker fleet numbers approximately 140 vessels, which vary in size from 37,000-110,000 dwt. The company is a carrier of refined oil products such as gasoline, jet fuel, naphtha and diesel oil. Torm’s Copenhagen office manages tanker operations, covering all time zones 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Neste Oil Uses Veson Nautical IMOS Trading

Veson Nautical, the US-based developer of proven software solutions for the commercial maritime community, announced that Neste Oil Corporation has purchased Veson Nautical’s Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS) Trading Module for Neste’s Shipping Division. Veson Nautical IMOS Trading provides a solution for monitoring and managing physical and Forward Freight Agreement (FFA) positions and risk. Currently, Neste’s Shipping Division utilizes Veson Nautical’s IMOS Chartering, Operations and Financials modules to manage all commercial shipping activities for its 30-vessel fleet. Ports of call include the Baltic, the North Sea and the North Atlantic Region; the company transports about 40 million tons of crude oil, oil products and chemicals annually.

Veson Nautical, the US-based maritime software developer delivering chartering, operations and accounting solutions for cargo transportation, announced that Motia Compagnia di Navigazione based in Venice, Italy has chosen Vesonís Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS). Motia is the technical manager for the Netherlands-based Seaarland Shipping fleet, which implemented Vesonís IMOS last year. IMOS has been managing all aspects of cargo transportation for Seaarlandís fleet, which includes 11 handymax product tankers, 3 panamax bulk carriers, 4 Aframax Tankers, and 3 Panamax tankers. The fleet also includes 23 chartered tankers ranging from 35,000 to 160,000 dwt.

Fednav - Complete IMOS Solution

Veson Nautical, the US-based developer of software solutions for the commercial maritime community, announced that Fednav Limited of Montreal, a Canadian ocean-going, dry-bulk ship owning, operating and chartering group, has chosen to implement the full complement of Veson Nautical’s Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS). Veson Nautical, the US-based maritime software developer that delivers outstanding chartering, operations and accounting solutions to marine cargo transportation managers across the globe, announced that Neste Oil Corporation has licensed Veson’s Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS). Moran Selects Veson Nautical IMOS

Veson Nautical, a maritime software developer, announced that its Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS) has been selected by Moran Towing Corporation of New Canaan, Ct. Moran will utilize Veson’s solution to organize and manage commercial marine operations for its Dry Bulk and Petroleum Divisions onto one centralized, user-friendly platform. Moran will install the full suite of IMOS modules and will also be upgrading to Microsoft’s Navision v4.01. The new system is expected to be up and running by mid-to-late September 2006.

IMOS to Handle Tanker Expansion for NSCSA

The National Shipping Corporation of Saudi Arabia (NSCSA) has licensed Veson Nautical’s complete Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS). IMOS will manage NSCSA’s chartering and operational activities for its growing fleet of tankers and very large crude carriers (VLCCs) operating world wide in the global tanker markets. NSCSA owns and operates nine double hulled VLCCs, each with an individual capacity of 2.1 million barrels and deadweight of more than 300,000 tons technically managed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Mideast Ship Management Ltd. (MSML), Dubai. These ships will be accessing IMOS remotely to track daily voyage operation activities and actual voyage costs.

Stolt-Nielsen taps Veson for Operations System

Veson Nautical, a U.S.-based maritime software developer, said that Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group (SNTG) selected Veson Nautical’s Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS) to handle all chartering, operations and accounting functions for the company’s extensive Inland Tanker division. SNTG’s Inland barge fleet (SNITS), which operates within the Rhine River basin and associated canals in the Netherands, Belgium and Germany, will utilize IMOS to handle all voyages, contracts, scheduling and communications from vessel to shore.
