The new recruitment company, RQM365 AS, has its base in Ulsteinvik, Norway. The company will conduct recruitment, qualification and manning for the oil industry, especially targeting platforms. Many significant discoveries and high activity on the Norwegian continental shelf represents a major challenge in the coming years in finding and qualifying enough people to do the job. Today there are about 7,500 employees on the 31 rigs operating in Norway. In 2015 we expect that number to exceed 50. This will give an increase of 4,500 people in a market with already a huge need for rig workers.
