The nomination for Steven Robert Blust, of Florida, for Federal Maritime Commissioner has been sent to the Senate.

As it adjourned for its August recess, the Senate confirmed Steven Robert Blust to be a Federal Maritime Commissioner for a term expiring June 30, 2006. President Bush previously indicated that he will appoint Blust to be Chair of the FMC when he is sworn in. Source: HK Law
