Skipsverft AS has signed a contract with Waveney Shipping Ltd for the building of a platform supply vessel. The contract is worth a total of around NOK 130 million. Brattvaag Skipsverft AS belongs to the Aker Brattvaag Group, which is 100 percent owned by Aker Yards. Rolls-Royce Marine will supply design and equipment worth approximately NOK 30 million.The hull will be built in Romania and the completed vessel is scheduled for delivery in April 2003.The contract with Brattvaag Skipsverft AS is for a platform supply vessel of the type UT 755 L, developed by Rolls-Royce Marine’s design division.
