Yanmars Power Universal’s Water Taxis
The innocent-looking water taxis at Universal Orlando Resort are actually hard-working craft hiding behind their pretty wood finishes, running all day, every day of the year. Nearly constant use has been no problem for the Yanmar 4JH5E diesels powering four of the taxis, two of which have logged more than 12,000 hours each. A new boat using the dependable Yanmar 54 hp engine is also under construction, all supplied by Mastry Engine Center.

GL Shipyard Restroom Barges for Park Service
Great Lakes Shipyard in Cleveland, Ohio built and delivered four public-use restroom barges for the National Park Service. The barges were delivered in Stillwater, Minn. near Minneapolis and will be used on the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway for boater and camper use. The 20 ft. long by 10 ft. wide barges, each having five restrooms, are able to be connected together in sets or floated independently for optimal utilization.
