HB Rentals Completes Trinidad Offshore Work

Offshore accommodation specialist,  HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, has completed an eight-building and heliport package on a fixed platform in offshore Trinidad, Jude Primeaux Director of International Operations announced.   The 12-month project included the construction of three 12-man sleepers, a galley, diner, office, laundry room, company man office, and heliport with a fire suppression system. HB Rentals also provided stairs and platforms for the building package. HB Rentals Major Norway Contract & Fleet Investment

Offshore accommodation specialist HB Rentals has secured a contract for four modules offshore Norway and announced a significant investment in its fleet. HB Rentals has agreed a long-term lease contract with Prosafe to supply four 20 ft by 8 ft A60 Zone II Norsok office modules for the Valhall platform in a $385,600 deal. International Markets Keep Tidewater Earnings Strong

New Orleans-based Tidewater Inc. reported its second quarter earnings recently, citing improving rental rates throughout international markets. During the quarter that ended Sept. 30, Tidewater posted net earnings of $86.5m, or $1.56 per share. In the same period a year ago, the company reported net earnings of $104.2m, or $1.86 per share.
