Superior Energy Services Names Executive VP
Superior Energy Services, Inc. announced that William B. Masters has been named Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Masters, age 50, joins Superior following a 26-year career with the law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre L.L.P. Harris has been with Superior’s Marine Division for three years, most recently in overall business development. HB Rentals Contract in Gulf of Mexico
Offshore accommodation specialist, HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, recently was awarded a six-month, $2.5m contract. HB Rentals provided accommodations, auxiliary equipment and communication systems for five barges working along the Gulf Coast. The accommodations include complete living quarter packages consisting of sleepers, galleys, diners, offices, recreation rooms and utility buildings as well as power generation, sewage, potable water and communication systems
Stabil Drill Acquires Two LA Firms
Lafayette, La.-based Stabil Drill, a Superior Energy Services Company subsidiary, has acquired to drilling tool firms based in Youngsville, La. Donnie Williams Tool Company and J&S Hole Opener Rentals, which both operate throughout the Gulf Coast, both were acquired by Stabil Drill.
Bollinger Delivers First of Two Large Liftboats
Bollinger Shipyards, Inc., Lockport, La., has delivered the SUPERIOR STORM, the first of two nearly identical Bollinger designed 245-foot class liftboats being built at Bollinger Marine Fabricators, Inc., Amelia, La. for Superior Energy Services, Inc., Harvey, La.
