Masters, age 50, joins Superior following a 26-year career with the law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre L.L.P. Offshore accommodation specialist, HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, recently was awarded a six-month, $2.5m contract. HB Rentals provided accommodations, auxiliary equipment and communication systems for five barges working along the Gulf Coast. Shipments of coal on the Great Lakes totaled 24.6 million tons in 2013, a decrease of 2.8 percent compared to 2012. Some of the decrease can be attributed to the early onset of winter in December, which lead to a 17-percent decrease in loadings on Lake Superior.
