The region includes Dominion E&P’s deepwater, Continental Shelf, and southern Louisiana assets. Fowler previously was general manager of deepwater development.
Hellespont has officially named the last two of six panamax tankers constructed for the company at the New Century Shipbuilding Co Ltd in Jingjiang, China. The product carrier Hellespont Providence was named by Mrs. Daphne Papachristidis-Bove, wife of Alexander Papachristidis-Bove, President of Seatramp Tankers Inc. The Hellespont Protector, meanwhile, was named by Mrs. Andrea Meyer, wife of Kai-Kristian Meyer, Managing Director of HCI Capital, organizers of the financing of the vessels.

The boat is named after Dirk Swart III (1935-2011) who served as captain and operator of District survey vessel Gillette from 1971 to his retirement in 2002 at the age of 76.
