Jo-Kell Announces Loss of Friend and Associate

Jo-Kell Inc., an electrical distribution and engineering company based in Chesapeake, Va., announced the loss of Walter E. (Ned) Gregg Jr., on Monday, September 6, 2010. Gregg, who was 92, was born in Baltimore, Md. and graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1936.  He graduated from Cornell University in 1939 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  He began his career at Universal Wiring in Providence, RI and went on to start his own consulting business, Gregg & Associates which was later sold to Eaton Corporation. Gregg had worked for Jo-Kell Inc. since 1978, and remained a loyal friend and associate until one month before his death.

“Ned was a dear friend to all of us at Jo-Kell,” said Jo-Kell’s CEO Suzy Kelly. “He was instrumental in leading Jo-Kell into the hi-tech automation sales and service industry.  He will be truly missed by us all,”
