HMY Yacht Sales Names New Brokers

Friday, January 31, 2003
HMY Yacht Sales proudly welcomes three new brokers to their firm. Don Millroy joins the Dania Beach office and is a veteran Coast Guard officer, airline pilot and yacht broker. The Jensen Beach office added Jon McConnell who credits his youth, spent in the popular fishing grounds of Palm Beach, with nurturing his attraction to saltwater fishing. Jon worked at Rybovich Boat Yard and as a captain on a variety of sportfishing vessels before settling into sales. His extensive experience allows him to match boats with people and answer difficult questions with ease. Claude Strickland also joined the Dania Beach office, bringing a background of fishing and scuba diving along. Claude considers himself a “boat junkie,” and a vacation in Florida thirty years ago from Columbia, SC, led to permanent residency for him one month later. Claude states, “Finding the right vessel for the right customer, handling the transaction professionally, and providing the best after-market support possible are my major priorities.”
