Drew Marine Releases Updated Version of CD

Tuesday, January 07, 2003
Release 2.0 of Drew Marine's Complete Drew Marine CD-ROM is now available. This CD-ROM contains product data sheets (PDS) and material safety data sheets (MSDS) for chemicals; welding and refrigeration products; fire, safety & rescue products; coating products; and sealing products. MSDS are now available in 17 languages. These languages include: English (U.S.), English (Great Britain), Danish, Dutch, French, Finnish, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish. This allows multi-language users easy access to important safety information in their language. Both MSDS and PDS are in Acrobat Reader format (pdf). The CD-ROM incorporates a user-friendly keyword search engine that allows the user to access products based on the application or product type. A convenient Help Menu has been included to assist the user. "Our objective with the material safety data sheets," says Nels Hendrickson, Drew Marine's vice president of marketing, "is to allow free and easy access to important safety information in as many languages as possible, and in a PDF format universally accessible for viewing or printing."
