V.Ships Agency and TBS Commercial Group are pleased to announce the formation of a Joint Venture in Brazil called V.Ships Lasa Agencies. The new JV, which combines the extensive 'local knowledge' of the LASA network in Latin America with the worldwide agency expertise of V.Ships Agency, will afford existing and future customers a new level of excellence in agency services throughout Brazil. This JV agreement was signed by Alberto Morales Managing Director of LASA Group and Rishi.K.Trivedi, Group Managing Director of V.Ships Agency. The head office of V.Ships Lasa Agencies, in Rio de Janeiro, has an experienced team able to offer full support for all agency operations for all ship types and covering the full range of agency services from terminal operations including crew change and the management of admin/ legal requirements. The same high standard of service is available at all other ports in Brazil through a select range of trusted and specialised sub-agents.

As part of V.Ships Agency and the TBS group, V.Ships Lasa Agencies has not only the agency skills necessary to handle the port operating requirements of all types of vessels, but also the approach that comes from fully understanding the needs of owners and charterers.
