Damen Combi Freighter 3850 Christened

On April 6, the fiftieth Combi Freighter 3850 of Damen Shipyards Bergum was christened in Harlingen. The ship was christened by Mrs. Verkaart. She baptised the ship on behalf of Unisea Shipping B.V. The CF 3850 has a main engine that runs on heavy oil and in combination with an adjustable screw this will lead to lower costs in fuel and therefore in reducing costs by exploitation of this type of ships.
