Management Dynamics Hires Three Regional Sales Directors

Management Dynamics, Inc. the market leader in tariff and contract management solutions for the ocean transportation industry, today announced that the company has hired three regional U.S. sales directors to support the company's continued expansion into the shipper, freight forwarder, and Non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) markets. Michael Roberts will be responsible for Rate Explorer® product sales in the Southeast region; Patrick Taylor will lead Management Dynamics' sales operations in the Midwest; and John Christensen will direct the company's Northwest sales program. Management Dynamics President and COO, John Preuninger, said, "We are extremely pleased to add three proven sales executives to the Management Dynamics team. Michael Roberts joins Management Dynamics from RKW Logistics in Atlanta, where he was co-founder of a company specializing in structuring logistics/transportation solutions. Prior to RKW, Roberts was area sales director of Nistevo Corporation, where he managed a sales team covering a fourteen state territory throughout the Southeast and mid-Atlantic. Roberts has also served in various sales positions with Xerox Corporation, Computer Associates, Uniteq Applications, and Catalyst International. Patrick Taylor comes to Management Dynamics with over a decade of proven sales experience within the ocean transportation industry. Before joining Management Dynamics, Taylor was a senior account executive at Freight Management Inc. where he was responsible for bringing in more than forty-five new clients over a two-year period. Previously, Taylor served as global sales executive for Expeditors International. Taylor also served in multiple positions at Hyundai America Shipping, most prominently, Midwest regional sales manager, where he was repeatedly cited as Hyundai's top producer of new accounts and new revenue development in the U.S. John Christensen brings more than 15 years of international and domestic logistics and supply chain management experience to his position at Management Dynamics. Most recently, Christensen was director of logistics and supply chain solutions for Sterling Commerce, an SBC Communications company. Prior to that, Christensen held multiple senior-level positions at American President Lines (APL), most notably, district manager, where he managed a team of sales support, customer service, and logistics personnel that successfully closed multi-million dollar service contracts in the Pacific Northwest. Christensen has also worked for Maersk, where he held the position of global port logistics coordinator.
