ABS Established MidEast HQ in Qatar

Friday, October 29, 2004
ABS announces the establishment of a new Middle East Region headquarters in Doha, Qatar. By locating the administrative and commercial functions for the entire region of Doha, ABS is further strengthening its ties to the energy sector, particularly the growing production and shipment of LNG from Qatar. “The new location strategically positions us to better service our oil and gas clients while still providing the attention and survey service our shipping clients in the region have come to rely on,” says ABS Europe President Antonio Lino Costa. “The ABS Dubai office will continue to provide survey services, particularly those required by clients and shipyards in the region,” he added.
