Butterworth, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a major contract for an unspecified number of its Type LT series of tank cleaning machines from Fuijan Mawei Shipbuilding Limited in Fuzhou, China. The order is ultimately destined for 12 offshore supply vessels (OSV) being built for Tidewater Marine LLC of New Orleans, La. and an additional fuor OSVs for an unnamed client. The contract is valued at over $400,000 and calls for regularly scheduled deliveries between now and December 2011.
